Darby Allin Hospitalized – AEW star Darby Allin was hospitalized following last week’s Continental Classic match against Kevin Knight on AEW Dynamite. The bout, which was praised as one of the best matches of the year, ended with Knight scoring the victory, but Allin required immediate medical attention afterward.

During the December 3 edition of Dynamite, Excalibur confirmed that Allin was taken to a hospital following the match. A video was also shown on screen of Allin recovering in a hospital bed. AEW noted that the former TNT Champion is currently not cleared to travel or compete. Fans can expect an additional update later this week on AEW Collision.

Allin is a competitor in the 2025 Continental Classic Gold League tournament. With his hospitalization, his participation in the ongoing tournament is now uncertain.

AEW President Tony Khan has previously praised Allin for his personal growth. In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Khan called Allin a “changed person” following his Mount Everest expedition, saying, “He went from being a ten to an 11 when it came to selflessness and his attitude. He already had the best attitude that I know, but he came back another level of a great person. He is so selfless and came back so centered and so focused, I was blown away.”

Fans will be keeping a close eye on updates regarding Allin’s condition and potential return to action.
