With Knight laid out, Breakker took the microphone and shifted attention to his upcoming WWE Championship match against CM Punk on the January 5, 2026 edition of RAW. Breakker began by addressing Punk’s absence, asking, “Where is CM Punk?” He noted that Punk wasn’t in the building, adding that if Punk had shown up, he would have suffered “two losses in back-to-back days in Kansas City.”
Breakker then questioned Punk’s entire persona. He insisted he wasn’t asking where Punk was physically, but who Punk really is. He mocked Punk’s well-known straight-edge lifestyle, claiming Punk now looks like “the biggest crackhead you have ever seen.” Breakker said he doesn’t want the friendly, smiling veteran who returned to WWE, takes photos backstage, and tries to win people over. Instead, he demanded the version of Punk from 2011 through 2013—the one who beat The Rock and held the WWE Championship for 434 days.
Breakker explained that as a kid, he saw that CM Punk as one of the greatest of all time. For his January 5 match, he wants that version. He said he wants to beat the best, but if Punk refuses to show that side of himself, Breakker vowed to destroy him, take his title, and even added that he would take Punk’s wife as well.
