AEW Returning to Los Angeles for 2026 Revolution – AEW will return to Los Angeles next year, officially setting the 2026 Revolution pay-per-view for Sunday, March 15, at Crypto.com Arena.
This marks the second consecutive year that the company’s first major event of the calendar year will take place in the same venue. Tony Khan confirmed the news during an interview with The Sporting Tribune, noting that the choice reflects both AEW’s growth and the strong reception to the 2025 edition in the same building.
Khan described Revolution as one of AEW’s premier events, explaining that the company strives to maintain a high standard for its pay-per-view presentations. Speaking about the upcoming show, he said, “It’s one of the biggest wrestling shows of the year. With AEW, we set a really high standard. We always put on great pay per views and Revolution in particular, has such a great reputation for being a tremendous event year in year out. So you can bet this will be very worthwhile.”
He went on to praise this year’s Revolution, calling it one of AEW’s strongest cards in recent memory. “I think top to bottom, one of the best shows we’ve had was this year’s Revolution. There were so many great matches, great moments, and it was a culmination of so many big rivalries. And in particular, I thought that show featured some of the best action AEW had.”
Revolution has been a fixture on the AEW calendar since its debut on February 29, 2020, at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The 2026 event will be the seventh installment.
Revolution 2025 set a strong benchmark, featuring six matches that received more than four stars. The highest-rated bout came from Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet, earning four and three-quarter stars. The main event saw Jon Moxley defend the AEW World Championship against Adam Copeland before Christian Cage cashed in his Casino Gauntlet contract to turn the match into a three-way.
Attendance for Revolution 2025 reached 11,425, with more than 10,000 paid. The gate landed around the $1 million mark, though many of the priciest seats were distributed as complementary tickets to celebrities and Warner Bros. Discovery executives.
