12/25 TNA iMPACT Holiday Special – Year-End Awards – For the second straight month, TNA Wrestling delivered a holiday‑themed edition of Impact, with Thursday’s show featuring the debut of the Christmas Surprise Match along with the company’s full slate of Year-End Awards.
The Christmas Surprise Match was a ten‑person intergender bout with a twist: team captains Ryan Nemeth and Mara Sade opened wrapped presents at ringside to reveal their randomly assigned partners. The chaotic lineup produced an unpredictable match, ending with Sade, Dezmond Xavier, BDE, Eric Young, and Peyton Royce scoring the victory over Nemeth, Mance Warner, Rosemary, Jake Something, and Jessie McKay. The finish came when Sade pinned Rosemary after a superkick. The winning team earned a holiday bonus, while the losing side received coal.
TNA Year-End Awards Announced
Throughout the broadcast, TNA rolled out its 2025 Year-End Awards, pairing each announcement with backstage promos and clips from standout matches. One unexpected moment occurred when a WWE WrestleMania 41 graphic briefly flashed onscreen during Tom Hannifan’s commentary about The Hardys — and then appeared again seconds later during the next award. The glitch was never acknowledged or edited out.
