Mercedes Mone is Getting Stem Cell Therapy Treatment – Mercedes Moné has explained why she has been away from All Elite Wrestling programming since early January. Her time off led to speculation about a storyline, but she confirmed the break was for medical reasons and recovery.
At first, her absence appeared tied to on-screen tension, which created uncertainty about her status. Moné later clarified that the priority was healing and preparing for a return in better condition.
She traveled to Cancun for stem cell therapy at Rejuva Stem. The treatments were aimed at improving her overall health, especially issues affecting her back and neck.
“So, I’ve been really trying to enjoy this time off by really healing my body and taking care of myself because I want to come back to the ring better than ever. I’m going to be very busy in March, because I still have a lot of championships to defend. Yes, I defend my titles btches. But I have just been really taking this time to feel good, and I really want to feel good inside and outside.”*
She said the therapy has already made a difference physically.
“If you saw a couple of my videos at the House of Sun. Oh my god, my back, my neck feel so amazing. I’ve never felt my spine just feel so straight. Now, I’m here in Cancun, Mexico, for stem cell treatment. I came down to Rejuva Stem because a lot of my co-workers came down here and told me about their results, so I’m super excited for feeling my best version of myself.”
Moné plans to return to action in March with several scheduled title defenses. One of them involves the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. She is set to defend the CMLL Women’s World Championship on March 6 at La Noche De Las Amazonas. Her opponent has not been announced.
She also has international bookings lined up as she prepares for a full return to the ring.
