Title Unification Match and More Announced for AEW Dynamite – A title unification match has been confirmed for the final AEW Dynamite before Full Gear, adding more anticipation to what is already shaping up to be a busy week for the women’s division.

During the closing segment of the November 15 episode of AEW Collision, it was officially announced that Red Velvet will receive her opportunity to unify the ROH Women’s Television Championship when she meets interim champion Mercedes Mone. The match will take place on the November 19 Dynamite card live from Boston, Massachusetts. The timing is notable, as Mone will step into another title match just days later when she challenges Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear.

Red Velvet has been sidelined since June due to an injury, which led AEW to introduce an interim champion. Mina Shirakawa became the first interim titleholder after winning the championship at Supercard of Honor. The reign did not last, as Shirakawa later lost the title in a winner-takes-all match to Mone at AEW WrestleDream. With Velvet now cleared and scheduled for television, the division will move forward with a single recognized champion following the Boston event.

In addition to the unification match, Dynamite will feature two quarterfinal matches in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament. Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa will form a team, and they will meet the duo of Riho and Alex Windsor. Windsor earned momentum heading into the tournament following a victory on Saturday. The second quarterfinal match will see Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir teaming up against TayJay. Tension increased in that matchup after Shafir attacked Tay Melo, which led to Melo delivering a promo calling her out and accepting the tournament challenge.

Outside the women’s division, another match added to Dynamite will see Hangman Adam Page compete against Katsuyori Shibata. A scheduled appearance by Kenny Omega has also been advertised, though no further direction was shared during the announcement.

Current AEW Dynamite lineup for November 19 in Boston includes:

  • Hangman Page vs. Katsuyori Shibata
  • ROH Women’s Television title unification match: Mercedes Mone vs. Red Velvet
  • AEW Women’s Tag Team title tournament quarterfinal: Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Riho and Alex Windsor
  • AEW Women’s Tag Team title tournament quarterfinal: TayJay vs. Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir
  • Kenny Omega appearance
