NXT Viewership Rises for Gold Rush Week One

NXT Viewership Rises for Gold Rush Week One – WWE NXT saw a noticeable increase in viewership for the November 18 episode on The CW, marking the opening night of the brand’s Gold Rush special. Programming Insider reported that the broadcast drew 650,000 viewers, a clear jump from the 554,000 viewers recorded on November 11. The episode also reached a 0.11 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, improving from the previous week’s 0.07. Despite the stronger performance, the show did not place within the top ten broadcasts on network television for the night.

The rise comes during an ongoing dispute over Nielsen’s updated ratings system. As noted earlier, The CW publicly criticized Nielsen’s shift to its Big Panel + Data model, arguing that the sudden drop in reported viewership for WWE NXT under the new method does not match long-established viewing patterns. The network stated that the discrepancies lack credibility and do not align with data from other measurement tools, including Nielsen’s own alternate products.

While the conversation around ratings continues, the November 18 Gold Rush edition generated strong online engagement. WWE uploaded several key segments to YouTube, with the match in which Jacy Jayne won the NXT Women’s Championship leading all uploads for the night.
