Update on Brock Lesnar’s Next WWE Appearance – Brock Lesnar made a dominant return to WWE at Wrestlepalooza, where he quickly defeated John Cena in a decisive squash match. As noted, fans hoping to see more of “The Beast Incarnate” on weekly television will have to wait, as WWE does not plan to feature Lesnar on RAW or SmackDown for the foreseeable future.
This decision follows the long-standing approach of using Lesnar as a special attraction rather than a weekly performer. Internally, Lesnar is already penciled in for the first two major premium live events of 2026 — the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia and WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Creative plans reportedly assume he will play a major role at both shows, barring any changes to his schedule. His placement on the official WrestleMania 42 promotional poster further reinforces his continued status as a top draw for the company.
However, Lesnar will still be in action before the end of the year. As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar is scheduled to compete at Survivor Series: WarGames in November. The men’s WarGames match is set to feature a massive clash between a reunited Bloodline and The Vision.
The current plan lists CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Uso on the babyface side, with a fifth partner yet to be decided — reportedly either Jimmy Uso or LA Knight. Their opponents will be the heel team of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory.
Lesnar’s involvement adds significant star power to the WarGames lineup, further emphasizing WWE’s commitment to making the event one of the biggest of the year.
