Three New Matches Announced for AEW WrestleDream in St. Louis – AEW has officially added three new matches to the WrestleDream pay-per-view lineup, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, in St. Louis. The updated card promises a mix of championship contests and high-stakes showdowns, further solidifying the event as one of AEW’s biggest nights of the fall.
On this week’s Dynamite: Title Tuesday, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita scored a major win over AEW Tag Team Champions Bandido and Brody King in a Double Jeopardy match. Their victory earned them an AEW Tag Team Title opportunity, which is now confirmed for WrestleDream. The pairing of Okada and Takeshita continues to generate excitement as they aim to dethrone Brodido and capture the gold.
Another major bout announced will see the reunited Jurassic Express—Jack Perry and Luchasaurus—facing The Young Bucks, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. In addition to personal pride, this match will have $500,000 on the line, adding financial stakes to an already heated rivalry.
The TNT Championship will also be defended at WrestleDream, as Kyle Fletcher puts his title on the line against Mark Briscoe. This will be their fifth singles encounter since 2024, with Briscoe winning the first two meetings and Fletcher taking the last two in 2025. Their upcoming clash will serve as the definitive rubber match in their ongoing feud.
