Major Title Matches Announced for AEW Full Gear 2025 – AEW Full Gear 2025 is shaping up to be one of the company’s biggest events of the year. During this week’s episode of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling officially confirmed several key matches for the upcoming pay-per-view, including multiple championship showdowns.
In a high-stakes Four-Way Match, Samoa Joe outlasted HOOK, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship. Joe secured the win after forcing HOOK to submit to the Coquina Clutch, punching his ticket to Full Gear where he will face “Hangman” Adam Page for the title.
Another major development came in the tag team division, as FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) emerged victorious in a Four-Way Tag Team Match against The Young Bucks, Jurassic Express, and JetSpeed to become the No. 1 Contenders. With Stokely Hathaway in their corner, FTR will now challenge Brodido — the dominant duo of Bandido and Brody King — for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Also announced for the event, Kris Statlander will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mercedes Moné in what promises to be one of the most anticipated women’s matches of the year. In addition, Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall will team up to face RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta) in tag team action.
