Update on Private Party’s AEW Status and Reported WWE Interest – Private Party’s future in All Elite Wrestling remains uncertain, as new reports shed light on their contract status and potential outside interest. The team of Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy, who have not appeared on AEW television since January, have recently become a topic of discussion within the wrestling world.
Despite being absent from AEW programming, Private Party has stayed active behind the scenes and in the headlines throughout 2025. Earlier this year, the Wrestling Observer reported that their AEW contracts were expected to expire relatively soon. Not long after, Fightful Select confirmed that WWE has maintained interest in bringing the duo to its tag team division.
Fans have also noticed significant physical changes in both men. According to Fightful, this transformation may have been encouraged by the Hurt Syndicate. Sources told the outlet that MVP and his group have been mentoring Private Party and advising them to focus on improving their physiques to elevate their careers. The Syndicate reportedly views the former AEW Tag Team Champions as a team with untapped potential and has been “very helpful” to them behind the scenes.
When it comes to their AEW contracts, Fightful Select reports that both wrestlers are still officially signed but added that things could become complicated. It’s believed their contracts might not expire at the same time, possibly due to injury-related extensions or staggered deal structures.
As of now, there is no word on whether Marq Quen or Isiah Kassidy plan to stay with AEW or test the waters elsewhere. The two have remained silent about their contractual situation and future plans.
