Possible Triple Threat Women’s Title Match Listed for WWE WrestlePalooza – The full lineup for WWE WrestlePalooza may not be finalized just yet. On Thursday, reports surfaced about a potential new addition to the card for WWE’s first-ever premium live event on ESPN.
An official WrestlePalooza event t-shirt, available at the WWE merchandise store in Indianapolis, features Nia Jax vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. The match is advertised for the September 20 PLE.
As previously noted, Tiffany Stratton was pulled from last week’s WWE NXT Homecoming special and replaced at the last minute after WWE announced she was not medically cleared. This came after her SmackDown match with Jade Cargill, where Nia Jax launched a post-match attack on both women.
The situation leaves uncertainty about Stratton’s status for WrestlePalooza, but the promotional material suggests that WWE intends to move forward with a Triple Threat match for the championship.
WrestlingAttitude.Com will provide further updates as new details about the WrestlePalooza lineup emerge. Here is the current card:
- WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
- Singles Match: John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
- Women’s World Championship (Vacant): Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer
- Tag Team Match: The Usos vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker
- Mixed Tag Team Match: CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
