8/4 WWE RAW Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE RAW for August 4, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman. The crowd chants for CM Punk.
Paul introduces himself and eh says that he is the GOAT. He says he is not just the greatest of all time, he is your humble oracle. Humble by the fact that he stands here in the presence of the future of WWE, the Big Dog who patrols our yard. Humbled by the fact that he stands in the same ring as the tribal thief, the owner of Roman’s shoes.
Paul says at this point he would be introducing the champion, Roman Reigns, but Roman hasn’t been champion for a year and a half, has he? Paul says he would be introducing you to the World Champion, the best in the world, CM Punk. He wasn’t champion long enough for them to put his side plates on the title belt. All of you were part of CM Punk having one of the greatest title matches with Gunther, he was thinking you for chanting his name. He thought he would be married to that title forever. Not only did Seth crash the wedding, he stole the honeymoon.
Paul introduces Seth Rollins.
Seth says shame on you. Shame on every single one of you who turned your back on hiim after he won the main event of Wrestlemania. Shame on every single one of you, who for months taunted him with chants of CM Punk. Shame on every single one of you for months who have taunted him with chants of OTC. Seth says never doubt him again. Is Roman the World Champion? Is CM Punk the World Champion? Seth says he is the World Champion.
Seth says shame on every one of you who turned your back on him. Seth says he has been a marked man for months. Shame not on those in the crowd and at home who turned their back on him. Shame on every person in the locker room who made it their mission to keep him from cashing in his contract. Seth says everyone back there thinks they are so smart. They think they are so clever. They are going to stop him at every turn. Seth says he always has a Plan B. This Plan B was top secret. He told two people in the entire world. One was his wife. The other was Paul Heyman. Together they have achieved what they set out to achieve. They have absolute power and there is nobody who can stop them. This is the past, the present, and the future. This is the way forward. This is the Vision.
LA Knight’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Knight congratulates Seth, Paul, and the morons, but he wants to talk to ya. Knight says he is not here for a fight. He wants to answer some questions. People are wondering that Seth had the briefcase so why would he fake an injury? Knight says Seth wasn’t faking the injury to get the title, he was faking the injury to get out of something else. Knight says he wanted Seth’s dignity and he wanted to hurt him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He says he got the three count on Seth and that is where it gets interesting.
Knight says you pulled the wool over your eyes so far you couldn’t see. Knight says he went on a little vacation and saw what Seth did at SummerSlam so he had to get to Brooklyn. Knight says he was the last one to beat Seth and he says he will be the next one to beat him. Knight says that Seth gave him the ammunition. Now, when he beats Seth, he will take the title from Seth. Knight says there is no better place than now, or here, and no better time than now.
Seth says Knight has some guts. You want to come into his ring and challenge him for the title? Seth asks if he has the guts or the balls? Do you want to fight tonight for the title? Seth says it isn’t happening. Seth leaves the ring.
Everyone else leaves the ring.
Adam Pearce comes out and he stops everyone.
Adam says he has a few things to get off his chest. Normally, he wouldn’t set up a title match with no promotion. Adam says a person wouldn’t lie to him about his medical status. A champion wouldn’t lie to the general manager and to the people.
Adam says Seth will face LA Knight tonight for the World Title and Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are banned from ringside.
Backstage:
Judgment Day walks in the back and he says this is no better way to celebrate 20 years. Raquel and Roxanne walk off to regroup. Dom wants to know why Cruz, Dragon Lee, and Wilde are in his hallway since he is king of the luchadores. Dragon Lee challenges Dom to a match tonight and Dom accepts.
AJ shows up and he tells Dom that he isn’t going to slap him around, yet. He says what Dom did last night was clever with the boot. AJ says he is still coming after him for the IC title. As long as he has it, he is coming after him. AJ says Dom will run out of tricks. AJ says he is one of the best and Dom’s time is running out.
Rusev vs. Sheamus
Rusev punches Sheamus as Sheamus enters the ring. They throw many punches and Rusev gets the advantage for a moment. Sheamus with a punch. Sheamus blocks a hip toss and Sheamus with a short arm clothesline. Sheamus clotheslines Rusev over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus comes off the apron but Rusev with a kick to the midsection followed by an Irish whip into the ringside barrier. Rusev sends Sheamus back into the ring and he runs into boots from Sheamus. Rusev with an exploder. Rusev with a forearm to the back. Sheamus with punches and Rusev with a boot to the head. Rusev with a head butt and elbow drop followed by a kick to the back. Rusev chokes Sheamus. Rusev with a European uppercut and then they exchange punches. Rusev with a knee to the midsection. Rusev goes up top and Sheamus chops him.
Sheamus with a punch and he goes up top. Sheamus gets Rusev on his shoulders for a Super Air Raid Crash and he hits it. Sheamus with a knee drop to Rusev. Rusev with a knee to Sheamus and punches. Sheamus with a forearm and he fish hooks Rusev in the ropes. Sheamus with a knee lift to Rusev on the apron and he goes up top and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Rusev with a drop kick for a near fall. Rusev with kicks and he rakes the back. Rusev with shoulders in the corner. Rusev with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock. Rusev uses his body weight to add more pressure on the hold. Rusev kicks Sheamus in the chest but Sheamus wants more from Rusev. Rusev with kicks to the chest and Sheamus is going full Dux and he blocks a kick and punches Rusev. Sheamus with a uranage back breaker.
Sheamus forces Rusev to the apron and he tries for the forearms but Rusev drops Sheamus on the top rope. Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick and Sheamus gets caught in the ropes. Sheamus gets to the apron and he goes for the forearms and Rusev sends Sheamus into the ring post and Sheamus goes to the floor. Sheamus picks up Rusev and slams Rusev onto the announce table. Sheamus breaks the count and Rusev sends Sheamus into the ring steps. Sheamus sends Rusev over the ringside barrier but Rusev with forearms to the chest. Rusev argues with fans and that allows Sheamus to set for the forearms against the ringside barrier.
The referee makes the ten count.
Double Count Out
After the match, the referee tries to separate Rusev and Sheamus. Officials come out and Rusev picks up the top of the ring steps and he hits Sheamus in the head with the steps. Rusev picks up the shillelagh and Sheamus with a Brogue Kick and they have to be separated again. Sheamus and Rusev with clotheslines on the floor.
— We see The New Day earlier today and Woods has a hat from Big Trouble in Little China. Waller wants to know where they were last week and he says they were watching in the back. Kofi says Waller is doing well becuse he got rid of Theory. Kofi and Woods say they are not in the right mind and they won’t get there until they win the tag titles. They blame Adam Pearce.
Waller yells at Pearce but he interrupts Penta. Waller says he is representing the New Day and they want a tag title rematch. Pearce tells Waller to tell him they need to earn a title match. He says that Waller has earned a match against Penta tonight.
Penta vs. Grayson Waller
They lock up and Waller gets free. Penta with a waist lock and Waller avoids a head lock. Waller with a side head lock. Penta with a reversal and Penta struts over Waller’s back. Penta with a head scissors take down and Waller goes to the floor.
The music for the New Day plays and they make their way to the ring.
Waller returns to the ring and Penta blocks a kick. Penta with a kick in the corner and he sets for the hesitation drop kick but Waller goes to the floor. Waller sends Penta into the announce table and he slides to the floor and hits a clothesline. Waller sends Penta’s head into the apron and he hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Penta blocks a suplex with an inside cradle for a near fall. Waller kicks Penta and kicks his foot on the ropes. Waller sends Penta into the turnbuckles and he punches him. Penta chops Waller. Penta with a chop in the corner. Waller with a punch and he gets a near fall. Waller with a cravate.
Penta with kicks and a wraparound bulldog. Penta with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and a kick in the corner followed b a hesitation headstand drop kick for a near fall. Waller with a rolling elbow and he gets Penta up for a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Waller misses a springboard elbow drop and Penta with a rollup. Penta goes for the Penta Driver and Waller escapes. Penta with a super kick and Waller with a kick. Penta with a kick and Waller with a jumping knee. Both men are down with clotheslines at the same time. Waller drops Penta on the top rope but Penta with a kick when Waller goes for a slingshot rolling cutter. Penta with a thrust kick and Destroyer for the three count.
Winner: Penta
After that match Kofi ha some words for Penta and then he pushes Woods and his giant hat onto Kofi. He sends Kofi and Woods to the floor. Penta puts on his Big Trouble in Little China hat on and he tosses it onto Woods and Kofi and follows with a flip dive.
— Charlotte and Alexa walk in the back and… Sheamus sends Rusev into a storage case. Rusev does the same to Sheamus. Officials chase after them to stop the brawl. Charlotte and Alexa are unfazed and they continue to walk.
In the Arena:
Naomi makes her way to the stage.
She says they need to have an honest coversation. She says she couldn’t wait to leave New Jersey so she came here to think it would be better but she went from a bad situation into a worse situation. She says it stank here. She wants to know about all of the trash and construction. She mentions all of the cranes. She says she knows why everyone wants to come to Florida. She tells everyone to stay here where the trash is. Naomi cackles. She says since we are being honest, Naomi talks about being the World Champion after SummerSlam. Naomi cackles again.
Naomi looks around and she says she was going to keep this division on notice. She will clock your favorites and that Stephanie Velcro is next.

In the Arena:
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair make their way to the ring.
Charlotte says that might have been her first ‘you deserve it’ chant. She says it feels amazing to be champion. Alexa points out that ‘we’ are champions. Charlotte says it is not to do something as we for a change.
Alexa tells Charlotte that she can say the ‘f’ word and Charlotte says Alexa is a pain in her ‘a’ word. Alexa says they will be attached as long as they are champions. Charlotte tries to figure out how many titles they have had.
They are interrupted by the former champions and Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez make their way to the ring.
Raquel asks who would want to be friends with Charlotte? Neither of them say they would be her friend. Roxanne says no one cares. All that matters is bringing all the gold back to Judgment Day. Raquel says they didn’t come out here to take the titles back tonight.
Alexa says that was quick. She asks Charlotte if they are thinking the same thng. Charlotte says they will put the titles on the line tonight.
Adam Pearce comes out and he tells them to take a breath. He says it is the Raw after SummerSlam and they are in Brooklyn. Normally, a title match or rematch needs some time to put together. Screw it, tonight is not normal and the match happens now.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for the Women’s Tag Titles
Raquel and Alexa start things off. Before they lock up, they play to the crowd because they are still in the commercial break. Alexa wants a test of strength but she stomps on Raquel’s foot and gets on Raquel’s back with a reverse chin lock. Raquel with a snap mare. Raquel sends Bliss to the mat. Perez tags in and Perez chokes Bliss in the ropes. Perez sends Bliss into the turnbuckles a few times. Bliss returns the favor and Bliss with a head scissors take down. Bliss with a knee and Flair tags in and Perez sends Bliss into Flair. Perez with forearms but Flair with a clothesline. Raquel tags in and Flair with a waist lock but Raquel with a back elbow. Flair with a shoulder tackle and Raquel with a shoulder tackle of her own. Raquel sends Flair into the turnbuckles. Flair returns the favor and Raquel wit a back elbow. Flair with an elbow and she goes to the turnbuckles and hits a head scissors.
Flair with a shoulder tackle. Raquel sends Flair into the turnbuckles and Perez tags in. Flair with a Flair flip and she kicks Raquel and Perez. Raquel grabs Flair’s leg and Perez with a drop kick to send Flair to the floor. Perez with a suicide dive. Perez rolls Flair back into the ring and sends Flair into the turnbuckles. Perez with kicks and Raquel tags in. Raquel goes for a fallaway slam but Flair escapes and she clips Raquel. Flair with a kick to Prez and Bliss tags in. Flair with Natural Selection to Perez while Bliss hits a blockbuster on Raquel for a near fall. Bliss with forearms and Raquel goes to the floor. Raquel catches Bliss on a cannonball off the apron and Raquel sends Bliss into the ringside barrier and follows with a boot.
Raquel sends Bliss back into the ring and she gets a near fall. Raquel with an elbow to the clavicle. Raquel gets a near fall. Perez tags in and Perez with a kick. Perez chokes Bliss in the ropes. Perez sends Bliss to the mat. Bliss with forearms to the midsection and Perez taunts Flair. Perez with an elbow to the back of the neck to stop Bliss. Raquel tags in and Perez with an Irish whip and uppercut. Raquel with a splash into the corner followed by a slam. Raquel knocks Flair off the apron and the referee deals with Flair so Perez and Raquel double team Bliss. Raquel pulls Bliss out of he corner and gets a near fall.
Bliss goes for a rollup but Raquel stays on her feet. Raquel misses an elbow drop and Raquel misses a splash. Bliss with a tornado DDT and both women are down. Flair tags in and she hits a cross body onto Perez and Raquel. Flair with chops and a walk over clothesline. Flair kicks Raquel and then hits a fallaway slam on Perez. Charlotte goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and she hits it on both of them. Flair gets a near fall. Raquel with a waist lock. Perez tags in and Flair kicks Raquel. Raquel with a boot while Perez hits a side Russian leg sweep and Perez gets a near fall. Perez with screaming windmill punches. Perez with a back heel kick and she goes for Pop Rox but Flair knocks her off her back. Perez with a punch but Flair with a back breaker and she sends Perez into the turnbuckles. Flair clotheslines Raquel off the apron.
Perez goes to the apron and then they both climb the turnbuckles Perez with a hurricanrana and Raquel tags in and she hits the twisting Vader Bomb Elbow but Bliss breaks up the cover. Perez is sent over the top rope to the floor. Flair kicks Raquel off the apron. Bliss tags in and Perez pulls Bliss off the apron. Perez sends Flair to the floor. Perez is stopped by Bliss who hits Sister Abigail for the three count.
Winners: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair
Backstage:
Iyo, Kairi, and Asuka are in the back and Iyo says thanks but no thanks. Rhea Ripley shows up and she wants to talk to Iyo. Asuka tells Iyo to talk to her friend and she snickers before leaving. Rhea says she heard that Iyo asked for a one on one match. Iyo says she didn’t get pinned at SummerSlam. Rhea tells Iyo to beat Naomi so she can finally beat Iyo and win back the World Title. Iyo tells Rhea she is never going to beat her.
Backstage:
Bayley walks in the back and Lyra stops her and says she wants to talk to her. Lyra says she does not care what Bayley did out there. She says she cannot face Becky any more. She says she has to get out of this Bayley Vortex. She is not her friend or her enemy. She tells Bayley to stay away from her.
Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee in a Non Title Match
Dom slaps Lee and Lee with punches. Lee clotheslines Dom over the top rope to the floor. Lee with a suicide dive and he punches Dom on the floor. Lee sends Dom back into the ring and punches Dom in the corner. Lee with punches from the turnbuckles. Lee blocks a boot from Dom and Lee chops Dom and punches him. Lee with a kick in the corner and a leg sweep but Dom sends Lee to the floor. Dom with a chop against the apron. Dom sends Lee back into the ring and Dom shimmies and does the slingshot senton back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Dom chokes Lee in the ropes. Dom sets for a 619 but Lee moves and Lee with a kick. Dom with a chop. Lee with a jumping knee and Dom goes to the floor.
Dom goes for a suplex on the apron and Lee gets Dom up and sets for a Death Valley Driver but Dom escapes and hits a DDT on the apron. Dom chops Lee and he poses on the turnbuckles. Dom with punches. Dom ties Lee’s mask to the ropes and he kicks Lee. Dom with a reverse chin lock. Lee with punches and Dom with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Dom poses on the turnbuckles before returning to Lee. Dom with a suplex attempt but Lee escapes. Lee with a back elbow and kicks. Lee with a kick into the corner and a leg sweep followed by a slingshot kick into the corner. Lee with a flying forearm and he gets a near fall.
Lee sets for a power bomb but Dom with forearms. Dom goes to the ropes and he goes for a springboard move but Lee escapes and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Dom stops Lee on the turnbuckles and Dom is crotched by Lee. Lee sets for the double stomp and he hits it.
El Grande Americano comes to the ring and so does El Less Grande Americano. El Tercero Americano kicks Lee and Dom with a kick and his hands on the ropes for the three count.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio
After the match, Dom has his boot to hit Lee but AJ Styles appears and he stops Dom and he throws Dom’s boot at him.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Sami Zayn in GARAGE. She asks how does it feel to prove Kross wrong. Sami says he keeps replaying having the pipe in his hand. He says a lot of people would have liked him using it. He says he wanted to use it and it would have felt really good to hit him with it. It is not about who he is but who he wants to be. Sami says he wants to be a World Champion and he will be a World Champion, but he willd do it the right way.
Sheamus and Rusev fight up to Sami and Sami is collateral damage.
- Byron Saxton is joined on the Kaiser Koncourse by JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. He asks about the group’s performance tonight. Finn says Byron is right. There are some ups and some down. On the upside, Dom is still champion. On the downside, the girls lost and Liv is still hurt. Finn says Liv is rehabbing and she is getting stronger every day and she will be back… in six to eight months. Roxy and Raquel are a new team and they are growing and learning. They are learning from the best tag team in the world. JD runs through all of the tag teams and Finn says they beat them. JD says if there is another tag team who can step to them, he tells them to be their guests. Finn says they will beat them.
In the Arena:
Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring.
Becky says ding dong, Lyra is gone. She will have no more opportunities at the opportunity title as long as she is champion and that will be a very very very long time. It is time to open the floor to new competitors. People who understand what it means to step into the ring with the greatest female wrestler of all time. That will not be tonight. Physically she is fine.
Nikki Bella’s music plays and that young whippersnapper makes her way to the ring.
Nikki says she was listening to Becky and she is so right. Becky is one of the greatest of all time. Becky corrects her. Nikki says she is impressed with her accomplishments. Nikki says it is people like Becky who allowed Nikki to take a step away because of what they could do. Nikki says Becky is a disappointment. She says Becky has stabbed everyone in the back and is handcuffing them. Nikki says she came back to test herself. Nikki wants to know why did Becky come back. You could have stayed away? Could you not take seeing Lyra succeed or was Hollywood not what you expected.
Becky mentions she is in the hottest movie on Netflix. She says she saw Nikki on the set and she wasn’t in the movie. She got Nikki cut from the movie.
Nikki says she is sick of this. She says Becky is a liar like her husband. The difference is that we all bought Seth’s lies. No one buys your BS. She says she sees right through Becky. You are that same insecure little girl who came into this division.
Becky says not to talk about her husband. She says they are the greatest wrestling couple of all time. Becky says at one time that would have been you and. Becky says you can’t see him any more.
She says when she came up, she came up to combat her era.
Nikki says it isn’t Becky’s era. She says Becky was too damn scared to face Nikki. Nikki tells Becky to put her title on the line against her.
Becky says they never went one on one because… Becky punches Nikki and leaves the ring.
Backstage:
Byron is with Naomi and he points out that she called her shot and she pulled it off. Naomi says she feels great. She said she warned everyone. Everyone looks stupid and she says it is not her fault. She mentions some rumors. Naomi says she will be defending the title against Iyo Sky.
Stephanie Vaquer shows up and she says it does not matter who she faces, she will become champion at Clash in Paris. Naomi says she will shove those horns so far up her butt that she will have a limp. Naomi cackles.
— Cole mentions taht Gunther suffered facial injuries and he will be out indefinitely.
— On Smackdown, Cody Rhodes will be on the show.
— Next week on Raw,, Rusev will face Sami Zayn. Iyo Sky faces Naomi for the World Title.
— Becky walks in the back and Nattie tells Becky she is wrong. Becky says that Nattie is coming at her three on one. Nattie challenges Becky to a match. Becky accepts but she says against Maxxine.
LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins for the World Championship
Knight with punches in the corner followed by kicks. Seth with punches and kicks. Knight with a clothesline and he follows with a suplex for a near fall. Seth escapes a slam and Knight with a neck breaker for a near fall. Knight sends Seth into the turnbuckles and follows with an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner. Seth with a kick but Knight with a back body drop over the top rope to the floor. Knight goes to the floor and Seth puts Paul in the way. Seth tries to punch Knight but Knight blocks it. Knight with punches and he sends Seth into the announce table. Seth sends Knight into the apron and ringside barrier. Seth drops Knight on the ringside barrier and Seth with a double stomp to the back. Seth returns to the ring.
Seth kicks Knight when Knight returns to the ring. Paul hands Seth the title belt so he can pose DURING THE MATCH. Knight with punches but Seth with a hard Irish whip. Knight goes to the apron and Seth sends him into the ring post. Seth catapults Knight into the middle rope. Seth punches Knight and he gets back into the ring. Seth with a chop but Knight with chops and punches of his own. Seth with a kick and he sets for a Pedigree but Knight with a back body drop. Rollins with a flatliner into the turnbuckles. Seth goes up top and Knight leaps to the turnbuckles for a superplex. Knight gets a near fall. Seth with a chop and Knight chops back. They move on to punches. Knight with a clothesline and a side Russian leg sweep. Knight with an Irish whip and neck breaker for a near fall.
Seth with a jaw breaker but Knight with a power slam and a leaping elbow drop attempt but Seth gets his knees up. Seth with a buckle bomb and Seth misses Black Out. Knight with a Burning Hammer for a near fall. Knight sets for BFT and Seth with a rollup for a near fall. Seth misses Black Out. Seth goes for a Pedigree but Knight with a kick and DDT. Knight goes to the turnbuckles for the catchphrase double jump elbow drop and he hits it. Seth escapes a BFT and Seth goes to the floor. Knight with a drop kick through the ropes and Seth goes over the announce table. Knight slams Seth’s head into the announce table.
Knight sends Seth over the announce table and he breaks the count. Seth with a shot to the nether region. Seth sends Knight into the ring post. Seth punches Knight on the floor. Seth breaks the count again. Seth pulls up the mats at ringside to expose the floor. Seth sends Knight into the ring post and then he punches Knight. Seth sets for Black Out and CM Punk with a double sledge off the ringside barrier.
Winner: Seth Rollins (by disqualification
After the match, Punk punches Seth in the ring and Knight pulls Punk off Seth and Knight yells at Punk.
Bron spears Punk and then Bron runs Knight to the floor. Reed joins in the attack and Reed sends Knight into the ring . Bron sends Punk into the ring. Reed holds Knight for a WARP spear. Seth returns to the ring and he wants to hit Knight with Black Out and he does. Seth hs Reed hold Punk and Seth with Black Out to Punk.
While they stand on the ramp, Roman Reigns’ music plays and he comes out and he hits Reed with a Superman PUnch. Roman punches Bron and sends him into the ring steps. Seth stands in the ring and Roman stares at him while Punk and Knight continue their naps.
Seth goes to the floor when Roman hits the ring.
Roman with a double leg take down on Bron and he punches Bron. Roman with a double leg take down to Reed followed by punches. Seth gets the guts to sneak attack Roman and he hits Black Out on Roman. Seth and Reed hold Roman for a Bron WARP spear. Reed goes up top and hits a Tsunami on Roman and he goes up for a second one and hits it. Reed goes up top while officials come to the ring and fill the other half of the ring. Reed hits the third Tsunami.
Reed has a new pair of shoes.

8/4 WWE RAW Preview
Following a controversial victory at WWE SummerSlam Night Two, Becky Lynch is scheduled to appear on tonight’s episode of RAW. Lynch retained her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria in a No Count Out, No Disqualification Match, with some unintended help from Bayley. Due to the match stipulation, Valkyria can no longer challenge Lynch for the title, leaving fans eager to hear what “The Man” has to say next.
