Trish Stratus Helps Tiffany Stratton on WWE SmackDown – WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a surprise return on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, coming to the aid of WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton after her match against Candice LeRae.
Following Stratton’s victory over LeRae, she was ambushed by both LeRae and Nia Jax. As the attack intensified, Stratus hit the ring to even the odds. However, despite her efforts, the numbers advantage proved too much. Jax and LeRae managed to overpower both Stratton and Stratus, leaving them laid out.
Jax delivered a brutal statement by stacking Trish and Tiffany on top of each other before hitting a devastating double Annihilator.
In response to the attack, WWE has officially scheduled a tag team match for Elimination Chamber, where Stratus and Stratton will team up against Jax and LeRae.
Stratus’ return adds a new layer of intrigue to the women’s division as WWE heads toward WrestleMania 40. It remains to be seen whether this alliance with Stratton is a one-time partnership or the start of something more.
