Updated WWE Taping Schedule – The trend of WWE taping episodes of its shows in advance will extend into the holiday season as the company adjusts its schedule to accommodate the holidays and shifting touring logistics.
Upcoming WWE Taping Schedule
- November 29 SmackDown: Scheduled to be taped on November 22 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This allows WWE staff and talent to have Thanksgiving off.
- December 20 SmackDown: Will be taped on December 13 in Hartford, Connecticut, at the XL Center.
- December 23 RAW: Taped on December 16 in Boston, Massachusetts, at the TD Garden.
- December 17 NXT Event: Taking place in Lowell, Massachusetts, this event will air with a one-hour tape delay, followed by taping the Christmas Eve episode.
While WWE typically prefers live broadcasts, taping episodes in advance during the holiday season provides a break for its roster and staff. With the company’s move to Netflix in January 2025, WWE is expected to return to a more regular live broadcasting schedule in the new year.
There is speculation about an episode of NXT airing on December 31, but WWE has yet to confirm this plan. In the meantime, December’s tapings and tape-delayed broadcasts will allow WWE to maintain its content schedule without overburdening talent during the holidays.
As the transition to 2025 approaches, fans can expect announcements regarding WWE’s live programming schedule, particularly as excitement builds for the Netflix debut.
