Braun Strowman Returns to In-Ring Action After SmackDown – Braun Strowman has officially returned to in-ring action after being sidelined for over a month due to injury.
Strowman suffered a torn groin during a Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed on the October 1 episode of RAW. The match, which saw the ring collapse after a superplex from Reed to Strowman, also featured the surprise return of Seth Rollins. Rollins attacked Reed with a stomp on the steel steps, allowing Strowman to secure the victory.
Following this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Strowman made his comeback during a post-show dark match. The original tag match saw Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee take on WWE World Tag Team Champions JD McDonagh and Finn Balor, but the bout ended in disqualification when Carlito interfered.
Strowman then stormed to the ring to even the odds, leading to the match being restarted as a six-man tag. Strowman joined forces with Mysterio and Lee, and the trio emerged victorious, sending the Milwaukee crowd home on a high note.
This marks a significant return for Strowman as he reenters WWE programming after recovering from his injury. It remains to be seen how WWE will integrate “The Monster Among Men” into storylines moving forward.
