Spoiler on Joe Hendry’s Upcoming Big Match – Joe Hendry, who has been featured prominently on WWE NXT in 2024, is gearing up for a major title opportunity in TNA.
At NXT No Mercy, Hendry faced off against NXT Champion Ethan Page, with former champion Trick Williams serving as the special guest referee. Despite Hendry’s efforts, Ethan Page successfully retained his title by hitting Hendry with the Ego’s Edge, with Williams counting the decisive pinfall.
However, Hendry’s pursuit of championship gold is far from over. After securing a victory over Josh Alexander at TNA Victory Road, Hendry added another significant win to his resume at recent TNA tapings (which have yet to air), where Hendry defeated Frankie Kazarian in a number one contender’s match for the TNA World Championship. This victory sets up a massive main event showdown at Bound For Glory on October 26th in Detroit, Michigan, where Hendry will challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship.
Bound For Glory has a storied history, with the TNA World Championship changing hands 12 times in the event’s 19-year existence. The most recent title change occurred in 2021, when Christian Cage lost the belt to Josh Alexander, who was then defeated by Moose in an impromptu match just 7 seconds later. With Hendry now set to challenge Nemeth, fans are eager to see if another title change will happen at this year’s Bound For Glory.
