The leader of The 946, Royce Keys teases invasion plans ahead of a heavily loaded Wednesday night episode of WWE NXT.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Keys posted an ominous warning to the locker room, sparking speculation that the faction could crash the broadcast:
“WWE NXT. Tomorrow night. Ain’t nobody safe.”
The 946 Keeps Pressing The Advantage After WWE RAW Ambush
Keys’ cryptic tease comes directly after a chaotic night on WWE RAW, where NXT standout Cruz Montana officially joined The 946. Montana aligned with Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price to deliver a brutal beatdown to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, cementing his place on the main roster by laying out the World Heavyweight Champion with a steel chair.
Despite his main roster jump, Montana remains advertised to face Dion Lennox on Wednesday in an unsanctioned match overseen by UFC star Michael Chandler.
Wednesday Head-To-Head Battle Against AEW Blood & Guts
With national US midterm election coverage preempting WWE NXT from its normal Tuesday slot on The CW, the show moves to Wednesday night for a direct head-to-head rating clash against AEW’s marquee Dynamite: Blood & Guts special.
To counter AEW’s high-stakes cage match, WWE has stacked the NXT lineup with main roster star power. Alongside the looming threat of a 946 invasion, the broadcast features advertised appearances by John Cena, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes, as well as the finals of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
