Fresh off capturing the coveted contract in a chaotic main event at WWE Money in the Bank 2026, Penta is already issuing a stern warning to the rest of the locker room.
Speaking during the post-show press conference and media fallout in New Orleans, the newly minted briefcase holder reflected on his monumental victory and turned his attention squarely toward the championship picture.
“This is a big surprise. I have a lot of ideas in my mind right now, but for now, I am focused on what is next,” Penta shared. “Something in my soul feels, Penta will soon become a World Champion. Very soon, I have a big surprise for everyone.”
Penta outlasted a brutal field inside the Smoothie King Center, overcoming Bron Breakker, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans in a high-risk ladder match that featured everything from an ambulance hijacking to a breathtaking Mexican Destroyer off a ladder. Despite the grueling war, the luchador took a moment to express mutual respect for his opponents before sending a direct message to the top titleholders in the company.
“I know why Roman Reigns is the best in the universe, but now I have the best key in the world,” Penta stated. “Champs, watch your back.”
With a guaranteed world championship match in his back pocket at any time and place of his choosing, the entire WWE roster—including World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns—now operates on borrowed time.
