A major AEW Women’s World Tag Team title match is now locked in for AEW All In: London, as Divine Dominion will defend the championships against The Brawling Birds. The announcement came during the August 5 Grand Slam Mexico event after Willow Nightingale and the Birds scored a win over Divine Dominion and Mercedes Moné, with Nightingale pinning Moné to secure the decision.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross remain undefeated as a team at 15–0, having captured the titles from inaugural champions Nightingale and Harley Cameron at Revolution in March. They have since recorded six successful defenses. Their challengers, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, enter the match with an 8–0 record since forming their duo in February. With both Hayter and Windsor hailing from England, they are widely viewed as heavy favorites heading into Wembley Stadium.
Andrade El Idolo Secures First Spot in Casino Gauntlet Match
Current AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo is officially headed to All In: London. At Grand Slam Mexico, El Idolo won a three‑way match over Tommaso Ciampa and Komander to earn the number one position in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match. The bout marked his first appearance in Arena Mexico in nearly three years.
After the match, MJF made a surprise return, attacking El Idolo and announcing plans to compete in a qualifier on next week’s Dynamite from Las Vegas to secure the second spot in the Gauntlet. El Idolo’s victory guarantees him a chance to win the match and earn a future AEW World Championship opportunity.
