Danhausen, Angel & Humberto Backstage Segment

Danhausen is mid‑promo when Angel and Humberto walk up. They want him to re‑curse the Knicks, insisting the team needs his powers again. Danhausen considers it, but before he can answer, Matt Cardona shows up. Matt tells Danhausen he absolutely should NOT lift the curse — and then immediately admits he has no money to pay him, so he asks for Angel’s watch and ring instead.

Kit Wilson arrives next, telling Danhausen to lift the curse because all he does is spout catchphrases anyway. Danhausen says he actually likes Miz the way he is now, so he’s not changing anything.

Kit gets irritated, slaps a nearby panel, and causes a sudden power surge that flickers the lights. Danhausen simply nods, says nothing more, and walks away, leaving everyone confused.

Sami Zayn In‑Ring Confrontation with Cody Rhodes

Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring and says the reaction feels strange. He spent the last few weeks in Europe, and the ride‑or‑dies were out in full force for him. Sami tells the crowd they have two choices — sit there with sour faces and boo him, or ride or die with the Last Good Guy. He says he’d love to come out and party with the diehards, but something has been brewing for months and he wants it settled. He calls Cody Rhodes to the ring.

Cody’s music hits and he joins Sami in the ring. Cody asks what Sami wants to talk about.

Sami tells him not to do the “American Nightmare” routine — he wants his friend Cody, not the persona. He says there have been misunderstandings for months. He’s helped Cody, but he’s paid the price for it. Sami says Cody made him feel like the worst person alive when Gunther choked him out, but Cody did deserve it. Last week, Sami helped Cody again, and by the end of the night Sami was on his back while Cody stood tall. Sami asks if that was really an accident.

Cody says Sami is asking him to explain pro wrestling to him, which he doesn’t need to do. It’s competition — and Sami wants him to turn it off? Cody points out Sami is wearing a new shirt that Cody might believe in more than Sami does. Cody says they shouldn’t even be standing here. Two years ago, WrestleMania 40 was the biggest night of his career.

Sami cuts him off and says he was the first guy in the ring when Cody finished his story. Before Kevin Owens, before Jey Uso, before CM Punk, Randy Orton, or John Cena. If anyone should have sour grapes, it’s him. But he didn’t — because he’s a good guy. Sami asks how many of those men are still Cody’s friends. Is the problem all of them… or Cody?

Cody says everything is about change — you have to be better than the day before. When the title gets involved, he couldn’t be as honest with them as he could with Sami. Cody says he’s taking all this heat for nothing. The crowd is booing Sami and chanting “Sami Sucks” because he sucks. He’s whining, crying, and not the Sami they rode with. He’s desperate. Cody says let’s not pretend this is about anything except the title. Cody apologizes — he’s sorry he has this title, because it means Sami never will.

Sami slaps Cody. He immediately acts like he didn’t mean it and tries to apologize. He says he was out of line and hugs Cody. Cody slaps him back.

Cody asks if they’re good.

Sami turns and leaves the ring. He grabs a chair, walks back toward the apron, then tosses the chair aside and steps back to the floor, leaving the situation unresolved.

Jacob walks into the locker room and Solo immediately wants to know what he wants. Jacob says he’s here with a message from Roman — it’s been too long, and Roman wants Solo to come home.

Solo asks if that’s really what Roman said. He tells Jacob that isn’t “home,” it’s a dog house. He calls Jacob Roman’s lap dog. Solo says he remembers who Jacob used to be — a killer everyone feared — but now he’s a lackey, and the only reason he’s still standing here is because Solo allows it. Solo says Roman has done nothing but embarrass Jacob, humiliate him, and make him kneel. Solo says he’s not going back. He tells Jacob to tell Roman he can go to hell.

Jacob says he understands where Solo is coming from. He says he made his decision, and he’s standing on business. Jacob says he’s coming for Solo.

Solo tells Jacob that if Roman wants him to “come home,” then Roman can come get him himself.

Finn hits another Sling Blade and this time connects with the running dropkick into the corner. Finn climbs up top, but Knight leaps up and Finn loses his balance, dropping down and landing on top of Jey. Finn recovers and hits Coup de Grace — but Keys yanks Finn off Jey to break the cover.

Keys sends Finn crashing into Jimmy at ringside. Knight dropkicks Keys in the back, knocking him into Solo. Knight fires up with a leaping clothesline, then a side Russian leg sweep. Knight plants Jey with a Burning Hammer, then drops Keys with a reverse DDT. Knight climbs the turnbuckles and hits the Catchphrase elbow drop as the match continues to build toward its finish.

Knight lines up the BFT and kicks Keys to set it up, but Keys slips free. Keys rocks Knight with a punch — and Solo Sikoa suddenly blasts Knight with a Samoan Spike. Keys follows with a spinebuster to Knight. Jey Uso wastes no time, climbs the ropes, and crashes down with a frog splash to score the three count.

Winner: Jey Uso

WWE SmackDown Preview – June 12, 2026

GUNTHER failed to take the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash in Italy on May 31, and the finish created plenty of controversy. Last Friday on SmackDown, he used his legal team to secure another rematch. He also told General Manager Nick Aldis that he had a condition for the match but refused to reveal it. Tonight, he finally explains the condition he plans to attach to his rematch with Rhodes.

Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige and Brie Bella face Fatal Influence members Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley in non‑title action. Last Friday, Reid, Henley, and Jacy Jayne crossed paths with Paige and Brie backstage during an attack and jumped them. Jayne had already suffered a loss earlier that night in a First Round Fatal Four‑Way Match for the 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament against Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day. Because of that, Fatal Influence enter tonight with something to prove.

The 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament continues as Jade Cargill, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Charlotte Flair meet in a First Round Fatal Four‑Way Match. Meanwhile, Royce Keys, Finn Balor, Jey Uso, and LA Knight collide in a First Round Fatal Four‑Way Match for the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament. The winner of the men’s match moves on to face Je’Von Evans in the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, Oba Femi meets Dominik Mysterio in their semifinal match. For the women, IYO SKY and Raquel Rodriguez already advanced to the semifinals and will face each other. The winner of tonight’s women’s match meets Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the other semifinal.
