Mike Santana could be heading toward WWE as his current deal with TNA Wrestling approaches its expiration.
It was reported that Santana’s contract is set to expire sometime in July, putting his future firmly in focus. According to an update from WrestleVotes, there is internal interest from WWE in potentially bringing him in. Santana is said to be highly regarded for both his in-ring ability and professionalism.
While no final decision has been confirmed, the report indicates WWE would prefer to place Santana on the main roster before the end of 2026 if a deal is completed. There is currently no word on whether he would join RAW or SmackDown.

At present, Santana is the reigning TNA World Champion and remains active in the promotion. He is scheduled to defend his title at TNA Slammiversary on June 28 against an opponent yet to be announced. His most recent title defense came against Steve Maclin, and he is also set to grant Eric Young a future championship opportunity.
Outside the ring, Santana reached a personal milestone earlier this year, celebrating three years of sobriety in February. He has openly discussed his journey, explaining that becoming sober was an important step toward being a better parent to his daughter.
Over the past few years, Santana’s career has evolved significantly. After departing All Elite Wrestling, he transitioned into a singles competitor and found renewed success in TNA. That run has elevated his profile at a time when his contract status is drawing attention.
As of now, no official agreement has been announced between Santana and WWE, but interest from the company adds another layer to his upcoming free agency.
