Brock Lesnar Moved To WWE Alumni Section

Brock Lesnar has now officially been moved to the alumni section of WWE.com following his apparent retirement after WrestleMania 42.

The update comes despite recent rumors suggesting Lesnar could still have one final match against GUNTHER, potentially culminating in an official retirement bout at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Lesnar’s hometown.

Brock Lesnar WWE retirement update

Lesnar seemingly ended his in-ring career following his loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42.

After the match, Lesnar famously left his gloves and boots inside the ring, a longtime wrestling tradition often associated with retirement.

WWE treated the moment as a major farewell, airing tribute-style video packages across RAW and SmackDown following WrestleMania weekend.

The company also released commemorative merchandise centered around Lesnar’s retirement, further signaling that WWE internally views his wrestling career as complete.

Lesnar leaves behind one of the most decorated resumes in modern wrestling history.

During his WWE career, Lesnar won seven WWE Championships and three WWE Universal Championships while establishing himself as one of the company’s most dominant attractions across multiple eras.

Outside WWE, Lesnar also captured the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in Japan and became Ultimate Fighting Championship Heavyweight Champion, making him one of the rare athletes to achieve massive success in both professional wrestling and legitimate combat sports.

Known as “The Beast Incarnate,” Lesnar debuted on WWE television in 2002 and immediately rose to the top of the industry.

Within months of arriving on the main roster, he won the King of the Ring tournament and defeated The Rock at SummerSlam to win his first WWE Championship.

Over the next two decades, Lesnar headlined countless major events and feuded with some of the biggest names in wrestling history, becoming one of WWE’s defining stars of the modern era.

Although rumors about a potential return continue circulating, WWE moving Brock Lesnar to its alumni section appears to further reinforce the belief that his in-ring career may truly be over.
