AAA on Fox Results – May 2, 2026 – The show opened with Dorian Roldan informing El Hijo del Vikingo that he will defend the Latin American Championship against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. on May 30th. Omos stood by as they spoke about family and legacy.
El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Mini Vikingo
The bitter feud between Mini Vikingo and Regular‑Sized Vikingo reached its boiling point. Their issues began when Vikingo aligned himself with Dorian Roldan and Omos, bullying Mini and eventually revoking his right to use the Vikingo name. After putting Mini in the hospital — twice — Mini returned and cost Vikingo his Rey de Reyes match against Dirty Dom Mysterio, spoiling Vikingo’s chance to win the WWE Intercontinental Title from Penta. Tonight, the Battle of the Vikingos finally went one‑on‑one.
At the bell, Vikingo threw his cape over Mini and stomped him down. He flattened Mini with a dropkick and continued the assault with strikes and slams, but Mini kicked out of every pin. Vikingo fishhooked Mini in a modified camel clutch, then transitioned into an ankle lock, bouncing Mini’s head off the mat until the referee intervened.
Mini fought back with open‑hand slaps, but Vikingo superkicked him and dropkicked him to the floor. Vikingo sent Mini into the steps, then suplexed him on the steel ramp. He followed with a powerbomb on the ramp, launching Mini nearly ten feet. Vikingo dragged him back to the ring and covered, but pulled Mini up at two to continue the beating.
Vikingo charged in the corner, but Mini dodged and hit a headscissors for a near fall. Vikingo bailed, and Mini delivered an unbelievable spinning leap over the top rope into a crucifix driver on the floor — a highlight‑reel moment. Mini took control with strikes and stomps. He went for a springboard frog splash, but Vikingo got the knees up and powerbombed him for another near fall.
Frustrated, Vikingo punched and kicked Mini, then removed the second‑turnbuckle pad. He tried to throw Mini into the exposed steel, but Mini countered with a drop toe hold, sending Vikingo face‑first into it. Mini hit a 450, but Vikingo kicked out. Vikingo then threw Mini into the referee, knocking the official outside. Mini hit a hurricanrana and covered — the bell rang, but no one knew who rang it or whether there was a count.
In the chaos, Vikingo clotheslined Mini and hit a terrifying uranage from the top rope. He covered, but again, no referee. Vikingo rolled outside clutching his shoulder and grabbed a chair. He went to use it, but Dr. Wagner Jr. ran down and hit a Wagner Driver on Vikingo onto the chair. Mini climbed up and hit a 630 onto Vikingo. The referee slid back in and counted the three in one of the biggest upsets in lucha libre history.
Winner: Mini Vikingo
Post‑Match — Omos, Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno del Mal
Omos stormed to the ring and took out Dr. Wagner Jr. He lawn‑darted Mini into the ring post, then rolled Wagner back inside. Omos chopped and kicked him and prepared for a powerbomb — until Galeno del Mal, Wagner’s brother, ran in with a chair. He cracked Omos across the back, and the brothers chased him from the ring.
Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix
Last week, Laredo Kid lost a non‑title champion‑vs‑champion match to El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Fenix tried to console him afterward, but Laredo blew him off and stormed away. Fenix watched him leave, stroking his chin — wrestling shorthand for “I guess I’m fighting that guy next week.” And here we are.
Laredo tried to keep Fenix grounded early, but Fenix dodged everything and kipped up with ease. The pace accelerated with both men countering each other until Laredo bailed to regroup. Fenix hit the ropes for a dive, but Laredo slid back in and cut him off with a spear.
Laredo shifted to strikes and slaps, then dropkicked Fenix in the head for two. Fenix tried a spin kick, but Laredo countered into a Michinoku Driver. Laredo went up top and hit a perfect crossbody, but Fenix kicked out again.
Fenix fired back with a back elbow and superkick. He punted Laredo’s head off the top rope, but Laredo survived the cover. Fenix sent Laredo outside with an enzuigiri and followed with a hurricanrana off the apron. Back inside, Fenix hit a top‑rope moonsault for another two count and continued kicking Laredo’s head to set up the Mexican Muscle Buster.
Laredo escaped and dropped Fenix with a hard right hand, then hit a moonsault from the bottom rope. He went for a second, but Fenix moved — only for Laredo to spike him with a Mexican Destroyer DDT. Fenix kicked out at ONE.
Laredo set up for more, but Fenix exploded with a cutter. They traded chops until Fenix sent Laredo into the corner. Fenix charged, but Laredo caught him with another right hand. Laredo climbed up top, but Fenix followed, hit an uppercut, and delivered the Mexican Muscle Buster. He covered, and the referee counted three.
Winner: Rey Fenix
Psycho Circus Drama
A video package recapped the escalating clown chaos in Psycho Circus. Panic Clown and Dave the Clown were mysteriously taken out, and Psycho Clown began to suspect his own partner Pagano after Pagano arrived late to help him against the War Raiders. They argued, Pagano stormed off, and Psycho turned a corner to find Murder Clown unconscious with a bandanna on his chest — Pagano’s bandanna. Next week, Psycho and Pagano will meet face‑to‑face to get to the bottom of it, promising pure clown‑level mayhem.
It was also announced that La Catalina will make her in‑ring AAA debut next week.
Real El Grande Americano & Original El Grande Americano — Contract Signing for Noche de los Grandes
The saga of the two El Grande Americanos reached its next chapter with the contract signing for their Mask‑vs‑Mask match on May 30th. The “Real” El Grande Americano has been riding high in both WWE and AAA, but everything changed when the “Original” El Grande Americano returned at the Royal Rumble. Both reached the finals of Rey de Reyes, with Real Americano winning the sword. OG Americano was furious, and the two began interfering in each other’s business until Real Americano finally challenged him to settle it mask‑to‑mask.
Security, ring announcers, and Dorian Roldan filled the ring as the Americanos made their entrances — though, as always, WWE‑adjacent security is famously useless. Roldan emphasized the importance of Mask‑vs‑Mask matches in lucha libre and asked them to sign. OG Americano instead produced a letter from his attorney.
Roldan read the first condition: No physical altercations between now and May 30th. If either man attacks the other, he automatically loses his mask. Real Americano agreed and signed the addendum.
Then came the second condition: OG Americano would not participate in the match unless the current ring announcer was removed from AAA. This enraged Real Americano — clearly a trap to provoke him — but the ring announcer quietly left, and both men signed the contract.
OG Americano exited… and immediately the Creed Brothers hit the ring, driving Real Americano through the table and covering him with the American flag. Rayo and Bravo Americano rushed out to chase them off and even the odds.
Until May 30th, the two Americanos cannot touch each other — or they lose their masks automatically.
The show ended with a tense Americano staredown.
