Danhausen has made a strong early impact in WWE, finishing among the top merchandise sellers at WrestleMania 42 despite not competing on the card.
According to Fightful Select, CM Punk ranked first in in-stadium merchandise sales at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, placed second. Danhausen secured the third spot, a notable achievement given his limited role during the event.
Danhausen only appeared in a segment during WrestleMania 42, making his ranking even more significant. He debuted in WWE just a few months earlier, yet has quickly connected with fans and generated strong demand for his merchandise.
Additional reporting from WrestleVotes noted that WWE was impressed with Danhausen’s performance during WrestleMania weekend. His merchandise reportedly required multiple restocks to keep up with sales. Fanatics was also said to be pleased with the results and is expected to include Danhausen in its upcoming Fanatics Fest lineup.
Danhausen’s rise began following his debut at WWE Elimination Chamber in Chicago earlier this year. Since then, WWE has taken steps to build on his momentum. The company has filed trademarks for several terms related to his character, signaling plans to expand his presence.
It was also reported ahead of WrestleMania that WWE considered featuring Danhausen’s likeness on the Las Vegas Sphere as part of the event’s promotion. While that did not materialize, it reflects how quickly the company has recognized his appeal.
Finishing third in merchandise sales, especially behind established names like CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, highlights Danhausen’s rapid growth. Achieving that position without wrestling on the show further underscores the level of fan interest he has generated in a short time.
