WWE SmackDown Results – March 27, 2026

WWE SmackDown Results – March 27, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on March 27, 2026, from the PPG Paints Arena In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We are live from the PPG Paints Arena In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as Randy Orton’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to start the show.

Randy Orton says that two weeks ago, he stood in the ring next to Cody Rhodes, and Cody looked him in the eyes and told him he needed to be the best version of Randy Orton. Cody wanted him to be the Viper again and listen to the voices in his head. Randy says he cut those voices out a long time ago. For the past few years, he has been thinking about number fifteen and the legacy he leaves behind. Then Cody gave him his blessing.

Orton says now that he’s listening to those voices again, he can’t be responsible for what comes next. The voices aren’t the problem — it’s the voices outside his head. There is only one person he’s listening to now.

Matt Cardona interrupts.

Orton asks if Cardona wants him to break his other arm. Cardona hits Orton with the microphone, sending Orton to the floor. Cardona signals he wants a fight.

Backstage:

Nick Aldis is backstage when Trick Williams walks in. Trick tells Nick to say what he needs to say. Aldis says he’s been impressed with Trick and that Trick has become a player. He announces that Trick will have a match at WrestleMania.

Trick says he needs to make some calls — his mama, Lash, and Little Yaddy.

Sami Zayn arrives, and Trick tells him he’s going to WrestleMania. Sami congratulates him and asks Aldis what he has lined up for him. Aldis says things haven’t been going Sami’s way lately. Titles need to be defended, and unless something changes, he doesn’t have a spot for Sami at WrestleMania.

Trick tells Sami “better luck next year” and says he’ll see him soon.

Sami walks away as Trick continues talking loudly to Aldis. Sami suddenly turns back, punches Trick, and says he will have a match at WrestleMania.

We’ll return after the break with more results from WWE SmackDown on March 27, 2026.

Backtage:

We return backstage where Randy Orton is yelling at Nick Aldis. Orton demands a match with Matt Cardona. Aldis brings up Cardona’s injured arm, and Orton reminds him he’s the one who injured it.

Orton says that if he doesn’t get the match, the voices in his head will lead to something bad happening. Aldis grants the match and tells Orton to cool off.

Nikki Bella & Brie Bella vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

Before the opening bell, Lash Legend and Nia Jax make their way to ringside to watch the match up close. Nia says there is still time to buy tickets for Raw, where she and Lash will challenge Bayley and Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. She says the teams in tonight’s match are “wannabe contenders,” and if they want the spotlight, it has to happen with Lash and Nia present.

Rhea Ripley Heads to the Ring

Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring.

A video package recaps last week, showing Jade Cargill aligning herself with two new allies.

Rhea says she doesn’t care who she has to go through to get to WrestleMania. She’s dressed for a fight and invites them to the ring.

Jade’s music hits, and she walks onto the stage with Michin and B‑Fab.

Jade tells Rhea she looks “real slick” for someone who got dropped last week. She says Michin and B‑Fab are positioning themselves, and she’s not going to bring them down.

B‑Fab says Rhea claimed she would do anything to stop them. She calls Rhea a backstabber and says she’s not worried about the sacrifice because she gets the reward.

Michin says she has been grinding for decades just like Rhea. While they’re the ones who get forgotten, Rhea is the one who gets all the attention — and they want that now.

B‑Fab says Jade had a plan and they jumped at it. Jade has the gold and the power, and what the fans see is what they get. If Rhea wants to get her ass kicked, she can go ahead. Jade says Rhea is just a guest on SmackDown, and B‑Fab will step up tonight to teach her a lesson.

Rhea says she’ll teach B‑Fab tonight, and she’ll teach Jade at WrestleMania that actions have consequences. Jade can’t protect B‑Fab from her.

Jacob Fatu Addresses Drew McIntyre

Jacob Fatu makes his way to the ring, holding his arm at his side. He says he’s limping, busted open, and dealing with cracked ribs — and it all comes down to one person. He calls out Drew McIntyre and asks what is wrong with him. Fatu accuses Drew of trying to end his career and take food off his kids’ table. He asks if Drew thought kicking his teeth in would keep him down, or if hitting him with the title belt would keep him down. He asks if Drew thought hitting him with a car, dragging him out of a window, or tossing him off a building would keep him down.

Fatu says Drew did all of that, but he’s still standing. As long as he has air in his lungs, he says he will dog‑walk Drew every week.

Drew McIntyre’s music hits, and he hobbles onto the stage.

Drew says Fatu is playing the victim, but Drew is the real victim. He says Fatu started this by accusing him of a crime he didn’t commit. Drew says he’s always guilty until proven innocent, while Fatu is “straight guilty” because he’s a criminal who did the crime and did the time. Drew says Fatu stole his title, stole WrestleMania from him, and stole everything from him. Drew says the “food” Fatu talks about is actually his.

Drew tells Fatu to look at him — then says, “Screw your damn kids.”

Fatu leaves the ring.

Nick Aldis steps between them and tells Fatu to stay where he is. He says neither man is in any condition to fight tonight. WWE SmackDown Preview – March 27, 2026

Randy Orton showed every side of himself during last Friday’s episode of SmackDown — the calm veteran who embraces the fans, the confident challenger who believes he will dethrone Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42, and the cold, calculating predator who blindsided Matt Cardona and left him sprawled out on the floor. With all of the voices in his head seemingly fighting for control, Orton will be appearing on tonight’s show with something he intends to get off his chest.

Women’s United States Champion Giulia returns to singles action for the first time since her disqualification loss to Rhea Ripley on February 20 as she faces former Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Stratton picked up a win over Giulia’s ally Kiana James on the March 13 SmackDown, a match that fell apart thanks to a miscommunication between James and Giulia triggered by the injured Chelsea Green. Tonight, Giulia looks to regain momentum heading into WrestleMania season.

Speaking of Ripley, she will also be appearing tonight with something on her mind. Ripley went face‑to‑face with Women’s Champion Jade Cargill last Friday in a tense confrontation ahead of their WrestleMania 42 showdown, only to be blindsided moments later by B‑Fab and Michin — Cargill’s newest allies. With the numbers game now shifting against her, Ripley is expected to address the situation.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will be back in the ring tonight as they take on Nikki Bella and Brie Bella in tag team action. The Bellas cost Flair and Bliss their Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity on March 13 by interfering in the match, and Flair and Bliss returned the favor last Friday by costing Nikki and Brie their own title shot. Tonight, both teams look to settle the score.

Country star and rapper Jelly Roll steps into the ring for just the second time in his career — and the first since Night One of SummerSlam 2025 — as he faces Kit Wilson. The two have traded verbal shots for weeks, including last Friday’s slam poetry showdown, and now they finally meet one‑on‑one.

United States Champion Carmelo Hayes successfully defended his title against longtime rival Ilja Dragunov last Friday during the return of the US Open Challenge. Hayes brings the challenge back again tonight, ready to face whoever in the locker room is bold enough to step up.

Additionally, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will provide medical updates on Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu after their wild brawl last Friday spilled into the parking lot and ended with both men crashing off a high platform at the Lenovo Center.
