Jaida Parked Sidelined With a Neck Injury – Developments on WWE NXT this week centered on the fallout from last week’s altercation involving Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker. During the February 17 episode, Monroe interrupted a backstage discussion between Robert Stone and Fallon Henley to address Parker’s recent actions and the chaos that followed their match.
The new NXT General Manager confirmed Parker had been suspended after attacking a referee. It was also stated that Parker is currently sidelined with a neck injury. Stone briefly suggested Monroe may have intentionally contributed to Parker’s condition before shifting the conversation toward upcoming competition in the women’s division. Attention quickly moved to the Women’s Speed Title tournament, where Monroe was officially added to the field.
Monroe is now scheduled to face Thea Hail in the opening round next week. The announcement places her back into a prominent role despite the controversy surrounding last week’s match.
Their previous bout ended in a double count-out after both competitors continued fighting outside the ring. During the exchange, Monroe attempted a suplex and landed awkwardly, hitting head first on impact. She remained in the match and continued until the planned finish, even after the rough landing.
Jaida Parker had been largely absent from television through much of the fall and winter of 2025 before returning last month to confront Monroe. Tensions escalated in the weeks that followed, with verbal exchanges and physical altercations building toward their recent match. One of those confrontations occurred outside the WWE Performance Center, further intensifying the rivalry.
With Parker now suspended and recovering, Monroe’s focus shifts to the tournament and the opportunity to gain momentum in the women’s division. Her upcoming match against Hail marks the next step as NXT continues to reshape its title picture and develop new contenders.
