Backstage News on Planned Dates for Vengeance Day and Stand & Deliver

Backstage News on Planned Dates for Vengeance Day and Stand & Deliver – WWE has begun to lock in dates for its upcoming NXT premium live events, with PWInsider reporting that the next NXT PLE will be Vengeance Day, though not in its traditional Valentine’s Day time frame.

According to the report, Vengeance Day will take place on Saturday, March 7, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This marks a notable shift from recent years, as the event has typically been held in mid-February and often tied loosely to Valentine’s Day branding. Last year’s Vengeance Day event was held on February 15 at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC, and featured Stephanie Vaquer capturing the NXT Women’s North American Championship, a win that helped further establish her as a top star within the brand.

PWInsider also provided an update on another key NXT event, confirming that Stand & Deliver will once again be held during WrestleMania weekend. WWE sources indicated that the current plan is for Stand & Deliver to run as a matinee show on Saturday, April 19, ahead of night one of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. While a venue has not yet been announced, the scheduling continues a pattern WWE has leaned into heavily in recent years.

Last year’s Stand & Deliver event took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, just outside Las Vegas. The show featured several high-profile moments, including Stephanie Vaquer and Oba Femi successfully retaining their titles. The event also saw Sol Ruca win the then-vacant NXT Women’s North American Championship in a ladder match, adding another memorable chapter to WrestleMania weekend festivities.

Stand & Deliver 2025 was also held on Saturday afternoon prior to WrestleMania night one, reinforcing WWE’s growing tradition of spotlighting NXT just hours before the biggest event of the year officially begins. As PWInsider noted, running a developmental brand premium live event ahead of WrestleMania has become a consistent part of WWE’s annual calendar, giving NXT talent a major platform while drawing fans into a full day of marquee wrestling.

With dates now coming into focus, WWE appears set to continue integrating NXT more deeply into its broader premium live event schedule.
