
1/7 AEW Dynamite Results – Excalibur and Bryan Danielson greet audiences at home as Justin Roberts introduces Jim Ross and he makes his way out to join the commentary team for tonight.
We then head over to a video from Renee Paquette earlier outside the medical office, where she explains that Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey have been attacked ahead of a scheduled Trios Match wherein themselves and Jack Perry were supposed to face The Demand. The Demand and Don Callis enter as Paquette questions them about a possible bounty, but Jake Doyle (formerly Jake Something) appears alongside Mark Davis to join Callis.
Back at ringside, Jon Moxley makes his way to the ring. Shelton Benjamin and MVP follow, with the latter joining the announce desk for the upcoming match.
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin (w/ MVP) in an Eliminator Match for the AEW Continental Championship
The bell rings and the two lock up. Benjamin charges at Moxley in the corner before the pair exchange right hands with one another and Benjamin lands a German suplex on Moxley. He connects with an overhand chop on Moxley, but Moxley clotheslines him out of the ring and fires off right hands on him on the outside of the ring.
Benjamin rocks Moxley with a right hand and clotheslines him over the barricade and into the crowd. He brawls with him through the crowd, but Moxley fires off right hands on Benjamin. Benjamin returns the favor and delivers another German suplex to Moxley on the floor, then stares him down.
Back from the break, Moxley and Benjamin exchange right hands with one another. Moxley runs over Benjamin with a clothesline, but Benjamin lands another German suplex on Moxley and follows it up with a belly-to-belly throw. He delivers three more German suplexes to Moxley and connects with a kick to him, but Moxley delivers a cutter to Benjamin.
Justin Roberts announces that five minutes are left in the match as Benjamin delivers a powerbomb to Moxley. He cinches in a crossface on him, but Benjamin delivers a flatliner to Moxley and lands a kick on his leg. He delivers a thrust kick to level Moxley and pins him, but Moxley kicks out and lands a DDT on Benjamin. He goes for a pin on him, but Benjamin kicks out.
The referee announces that one minute of the match is left as Moxley wears down Benjamin with a submission hold. Benjamin escapes and runs over Moxley with a knee, then goes for a pin but Moxley kicks out. Benjamin cinches in a Triangle on Moxley, but Moxley transitions into a pinfall with just seconds to go in the match for the win.
Winner: Jon Moxley
After the match, Moxley extends his hand to Benjamin and Benjamin shakes it.
The Demand then makes their way to the ring. Jack Perry and The Young Bucks follow, with the latter two men revealing themselves as Perry’s new tag team partners after JetSpeed were taken out earlier.
The Demand vs. The Young Bucks and Jack Perry
The bell rings and The Bucks and Perry go after The Demand. Matt Jackson launches Nick Jackson into Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun for him to land a double kick on them, and Perry connects with a moonsault to Liona and Kaun off the top rope to take them out on the outside.
Perry whips Ricochet into the corner and lands a clothesline on him. Matt delivers a clothesline of his own and Nick follows it up with a knee strike on Ricochet before they triple team on Ricochet with Perry. Matt and Nick low bridge Liona and Kaun out of the ring, then fly to take them out on the outside.
Perry delivers a hanging DDT to Ricochet off the middle rope as Matt holds Kaun in place by hanging him off the ring apron for Nick to land a senton on him off of it. The Demand then send Perry crashing over the barricade and into the timekeeper’s area.
Back from the break, Nick and Ricochet tag in. Nick levels Kaun with a superkick and delivers an arm drag to Ricochet off the ropes, then tags in Matt. Liona and Kaun attack The Bucks from behind, but The Bucks send Liona and Kaun crashing into one another before Matt delivers an elbow drop to Liona’s chest and Nick connects with a Swanton Bomb on Kaun. Matt then lands a blockbuster on Liona on the outside off the ring apron, and Nick hits a Canadian Destroyer on Ricochet from the ring apron.
Ricochet sends Matt crashing into Nick and Perry on the top rope, but Liona tags in and Kaun helps him stack Matt, Nick, and Perry on top of his shoulders. Liona lands a triple Samoan Drop on The Bucks and Perry, and Kaun drags Perry up the ropes. He delivers a superplex to Perry, and Liona flies off the ropes. Ricochet then delivers a 450 Splash to Perry and pins him, but Perry kicks out.
Liona and Kaun deliver an assisted cutter to Perry, and Ricochet follows it up with Vertigo on him. He goes for a pin, but Matt and Nick break the fall. Ricochet then rocks Perry with a knee after Liona and Kaun take out Matt and Nick, but Perry and The Bucks deliver a triple Superkick to Liona. Matt gets Ricochet in an electric chair position, and Perry delivers a Doomsday Device to Ricochet with Perry while Nick flies off the top rope. The Bucks then land the BTE Trigger on Ricochet, and Perry connects with a running knee on Ricochet as Matt holds off Kuan for the win.
Winners: The Young Bucks and Jack Perry
After the match, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle appear out of nowhere to attack The Bucks from behind. Doylle uses his shirt to choke Matt in the corner as El Clon, Lance Archer, and Don Callis appear at ringside. JetSpeed runs out to the ring with hockey sticks in hand to take out Archer and El Clon.
The lights go out, and when they come back on, Andrade is standing in the ring. He connects with The Message on “Speedball” Mike Bailey and removes his mask, then stands tall with The Don Callis Family in the ring.
Willow Nightingale Hosts A Celebration For Becoming The New TBS Champion
Renee Paquette introduces Willow Nightingale, and she makes her way to the ring along with Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander. Nightingale says she’s feeling complete with the first stop in the Willow Two Belts Tour tonight, then says she’s getting ready for her first challenger and voices her excitement for celebrating with Cameron and Statlander. She says she’s been reunited with both the TBS Championship and Statlander, then says it’s time to have some fun and eat some cake. She says she loves the fight and invites anyone who wants shots at the TBS and AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships, noting she’ll fight twice in one night if she has to. She says she knows there’s those in the back who want to crash her celebration and invites Mercedes Mone in the ring anticipating an appearance from her.
Mercedes Mone’s music hits, and she makes her way out in a mourning outside. Nightingale says herself and Mone have a lot to celebrate together after Mone had an incredible 2025, then says it’s time for them to cut their cake. Mone begins screaming and destroying the table with cake and decorations set up in the ring. Cameron pops a popper over Mone, but Mone loses it on her and falls face first into the cake Statlander had grabbed from the table. Nightingale surprises Mone from behind and lands the Doctor Bomb on her, then does the conga line in the ring with Cameron, Statlander, and Paquette.
We then head over to a Mark Briscoe, where he shares that while he’s doing well physically, he’s not doing as well mentally. He then calls out Hechicero ahead of their TNT Championship match this coming Saturday on “AEW Collision”.
Sammy Guevara vs. Bandido
The bell rings and Bandido extends his hand to Guevara. Guevara responds by flipping off Bandido, then delivers a boot to him. Bandido then runs the ropes, but Guevara moves out of the way before Bandido can take him out. Bandido then sends Guevara crashing off the ring and looks to fly, but Guevara moves out of the way and gloats. Bandido then takes out Guevara with a kick to him off the apron, but Guevara throws something into Bandido’s eyes and delivers a Tornado DDT to him off the ring steps.
Back from the break, Guevara delivers a chop to Bandido. Bandido fires off clotheslines on Guevara in opposite corners, but Guevara sends Bandido crashing into the ropes with a Monkey Flip and sets up for the GTH on him. Bandido escapes and rolls up Guevara, but Guevara kicks out and Bandido looks to catch Guevara with the 21 Plex. Guevara avoids it and takes out Bandido, then fires off right hands on Bandido. Bandido catches Guevara with a knee strike and follows it up with a 21 Plex for the win.
Winner: Bandido
After the match, MJF’s music hits and he makes his way out alongside Jon Cruz. MJF tells the fans to give it up for Bandido, then says if anyone knows about Lucha Libre, it’s him with everything he’s accomplished in Mexico. He calls himself a “Lucha Libre legend” and a “bigger star than” Bandido, then says because he respects Bandido’s potential and the country of Mexico, he brought Cruz to translate for him. Cruz speaks to Bandido in Spanish on MJF’s behalf to reiterate what he had just said, and MJF then continues to run his mouth and offers to wrestle Bandido on pay-per-view in five to ten years. Bandido grabs the microphone from Cruz and says he can speak English, then calls MJF a stupid son of a b****. MJF clocks Bandido as Cruz holds Bandido in place, but Bandido gains the upper hand and delivers a 21 Plex to Bandido. He grabs the AEW World Championship and holds it up.
Toni Storm (w/ Luther) vs. Marina Shafir (w/ Daniel Gargia and Wheeler Yuta)
The bell rings and the two go right after one another. Storm whips Shafir around the ring by her hair, then gets in Garcia and Yuta’s faces on the outside. Storm pins Shafir back in the ring, but Shafir kicks out.
Back from the break, Shafir sends Storm crashing into the middle rope and lands a kick on the side of Storm’s head before she goes for a pin. Storm kicks out, but Shafir mocks her by tangoing with her and levelling her with a forearm. Storm responds with a dropkick on Shafir and charges at her, but Shafir levels Storm with a big boot. Storm catches Shafir with an up kick and a headbutt, then rolls her up.
Yuta pulls the referee out of the ring to break the fall, but the referee calls for the bell and declares Storm as the winner due to disqualification.
Winner: Toni Storm (via disqualification)
After the match, Shafir clocks Storm and takes out Mina Shirakawa with a kick when she runs out to the ring. Luther slides into the ring, and The Death Riders surround him until Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong make their way out to come to Luther’s aid. Claudio Castagnoli makes his way to the crowd, but The Death Riders convince him to back down. Cassidy then helps up Storm and Shirakawa, cuddling with the both of them.
We then head backstage, where PAC and Darby Allin get into a verbal confrontation that results in PAC accepting a challenge to another match from Allin. Allin sprays an extinguisher into PAC’s face and sends him crashing into a garage door, but runs away when Castagnoli, Yuta, and Garcia find PAC backstage.
The Opps then make their way to the ring. Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Prince Nana follow, entering through the crowd.
Swerve Strickland and Adam Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and HOOK in a Lights Out Tag Team Match
The bell rings and HOOK brawls with Strickland as Hobbs and Page go at it on the other side of the ring. Strickland gets HOOK up on his shoulders on the apron, but Hobbs comes to HOOK’s aid and sends Strickland crashing off the apron. Strickland rocks Hobbs with a big boot off the apron, and Page hits Hobbs with a chair. He places it on Hobbs’ neck and sends him crashing into the ring post, but Strickland takes out Hobbs from inside the ring.
Page chases HOOK around the ring with a chain in hand, but Hobbs runs over Page with a crossbody. Strickland flies over the top rope with a crossbody to take out Hobbs, but HOOK delivers a T-Bone suplex to Strickland on the ring apron.
Back from the break, HOOK delivers a suplex to Page through a table set up in the corner. He goes for a pin, but Page kicks out and brings a chair into the ring. Hobbs gets Page up on one shoulder and sends him crashing into a chair set up in the corner of the ring, but Page escapes and sends Hobbs crashing into it instead.
Strickland hands Page a staple gun, and Page begins stapling HOOK’s biceps and chest. He connects with a powerbomb, but Hobbs runs over Page with a clothesline and looks to land a vertical suplex. Strickland staples Hobb’s midsection to escape, and Page hits Hobbs with a piece of drywall. Page then uses the stapler on Hobbs’ groin and grabs several cinderblocks stacked on top of one another with Strickland. Page and Strickland drag the cinderblocks into the ring, but Hobbs runs over Strickland with a boot on him. He grabs a chair and looks to hit Strickland with it, but Nana grabs the chair from Hobbs. Hobbs then looks to deliver a spinebuster to Strickland on top of the cinderblocks, but Strickland escapes and hits Hobbs with a chair repeatedly. He looks to fly off the middle rope, but Hobbs catches Strickland and delivers a powerslam to him on top of the cinderblocks. He goes for a pin, but Page breaks the fall.
Students of The Opps Dojo run down to the ring and begin firing off right hands and kicks on Page. Hobbs wraps a chain around Strickland and Page’s necks to tie them together, but Nana throws his coffee into Hobbs’ face. Strickland and Page untangle themselves and use the chain to take out The Opps Dojo students. Page runs over Hobbs with a clothesline and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat, but Hobbs intercepts him with a spinebuster and goes for a pin. Strickland breaks the fall with a House Call to Hobbs and delivers a Swerve Stomp to The Opps Dojo students off the top rope.
HOOK rolls up Page, but Page kicks out and HOOK looks to hit Strickland with a pipe. Page grabs the pipe mid-air and Strickland takes out HOOK with a headbutt. Page then lands a Buckshot Lariat on HOOK and uses the chain and the top rope to choke HOOK. HOOK taps out.
