Lola Vice Emerging as Possible SmackDown Call-Up – Lola Vice is reportedly being discussed internally as a potential addition to the SmackDown roster in the near future. According to a report from Bodyslam, WWE officials have been impressed with Vice’s recent work, both in NXT and during her appearances with AAA, leading to increased conversation about her next step.
Vice signed with WWE in August 2022 after participating in a tryout during WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas. She steadily built momentum in NXT and reached a major milestone in 2023 when she won the NXT Breakout Tournament. Since then, Vice has continued to grow into a more prominent role on the brand, with her in-ring performances drawing positive feedback from those within the company.
At this time, there is no confirmed timetable for when Vice could transition to SmackDown. She remains active in NXT storylines and recently expressed interest in challenging newly crowned NXT North American Women’s Champion Izzi Dame during the New Year’s Evil event on January 6, 2026. In addition, Vice still has unresolved issues with Kelani Jordan, with a match between the two already scheduled for next week’s episode of NXT.
Vice has also expanded her resume outside of WWE. In November 2025, she teamed with AAA legend Faby Apache for an international appearance. She later picked up a singles victory over Chik Tormenta at AAA Heroes Inmortales 2025, further showcasing her versatility and experience beyond the NXT brand.
The discussion surrounding Vice comes during a period of notable roster movement. Lash Legend, Jordynne Grace, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams have all officially moved up to the main roster in recent weeks. NXT General Manager Ava addressed these departures on the January 7 episode, explaining that the changes have created new opportunities for emerging talent within NXT. Former NXT Champion Oba Femi is also widely expected to join the main roster after vacating his title at New Year’s Evil.
Vice is not the only name being evaluated. Reports indicate that conversations have also taken place regarding NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, who successfully defended her title against Kendal Grey at New Year’s Evil. Sol Ruca is another talent reportedly in line for a call-up after appearances on both NXT and SmackDown, including her involvement at July’s Evolution event.
