We head to ringside as Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky make their entrance to kick off the show to a nice pop from the Dusseldorf crowd.

Liv says hello to Iyo and Rhea.  She says they look good.  They wanted to come out and congratulate you.  Last week, you won the tag titles.  What a reason to celebrate.  Liv wants everyone to cheer for the champions.  Liv says that is so cool.  Liv says her only problem is that those belong to her.  She is one half of the greatest tag team champions of all time and she never lost her title.  You can do it the easy way and give them the titles back or you can do it the hard way.

Lyra Valkyria and Bayley make their way to the ring.

Bayley welcomes Liv back and then Bayley cackles while the crowd does the ‘Bayley’ song.  Bayley says Liv might not have lost the titles but her friend lost them.  Bayley says she beat Roxanne a few weeks ago so if anyone deserves a title match it is them.

Rhea says they are here to lay a challenge to anyone.

He says he is impressed with Finn and a fan of his.  Punk says he was going to be a fighting champion yesterday and he is a fighting champion today so he is going to go in the back and put on his boots to fight today.

Finn says he has been around long enough to know that timing is everything.  Finn says he is not jumping the line to meet you.  Finn says anyone who has watched his career knows that the line starts here.  You don’t have to worry about Dom or JD.  He says he won’t be alone.  Finn says he watched Punk’s career take home field advantage in Chicago.  Next week, we are in Belfast and it will be the Punk versus the Prince and there will be a new Irish World Champion.

Punk tells Finn he is on.  He apologizes to the fans in Dusseldorf who wanted to see the champ work.  Now he wants to apologize to the people of Belfast for putting their country man down with a GTS.

1/12 WWE RAW Preview

Tonight’s WWE RAW comes to you live from the PSD BANK DOME in Düsseldorf, Germany at a special start time of 2 PM ET

GUNTHER continues to revel in the fact that he forced John Cena to tap out in Cena’s retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, and tonight he returns to singles action for a first‑time‑ever showdown with AJ Styles. Last week, Adam Pearce asked GUNTHER to “show respect,” which the Ring General interpreted as respect owed to him. Styles confronted him, but GUNTHER refused to let him speak — prompting Styles to answer with a slap that echoed through the arena. Tonight, they settle it in the ring.

CM Punk enters Düsseldorf fresh off retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker in last Monday’s main event, finishing the challenger with three consecutive GTSs. Breakker’s Vision allies — Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul — attempted to interfere, but Penta, Rey Fenix, and Rey Mysterio neutralized them before they could get involved. Tonight, Penta teams with former World Tag Team Champion Dragon Lee to face Reed and Theory, while Punk is scheduled to appear following his successful title defense, as confirmed by Adam Pearce in a video posted to WWE’s X account.

Last week also saw major movement in the women’s division. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after dethroning Asuka and Kairi Sane of The Kabuki Warriors in the opening match. Meanwhile, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer was blindsided twice by Raquel Rodriguez — once in the ring and again backstage — while wearing a walking boot after failing to retain her title in a Triple Threat Match the previous week. According to Pearce, Ripley, SKY, and Rodriguez all have something to say tonight, and given the chaos surrounding the division, their words may be just as impactful as their actions.
