WWE RAW Delivers Massive Viewership Success On Netflix In First Year

WWE RAW Delivers Massive Viewership Success On Netflix In First Year – WWE RAW officially premiered on Netflix in January 2025, marking a major shift in how WWE programming is distributed globally. One year later, the early results show that the move has paid off in a significant way for both WWE and Netflix.

According to data released by Netflix, subscribers watched more than 525 million hours of WWE content during 2025. RAW accounted for the majority of that total, pulling in 340 million views across the year. The remaining 185 million views came from a combination of WWE Premium Live Events broadcast internationally on Netflix, including WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble, as well as the weekly WWE SmackDown program.

Netflix currently serves as the exclusive U.S. home for WWE RAW and the international home for most WWE programming. Outside the United States, Netflix carries RAW, NXT, SmackDown, and WWE Premium Live Events, giving the company a unified global platform for its weekly and marquee content.

RAW has also proven to be a consistent performer on Netflix’s internal charts. Since debuting on the platform, the show has appeared on the Global Top 10 English-language TV chart for 47 out of 52 weeks. Over that span, RAW has averaged more than 3 million viewers per week, a strong figure for a weekly live wrestling program in the streaming era.

On a country-by-country basis, RAW has shown impressive staying power. The show has ranked in the Netflix Top 10 for 51 weeks in the United States, 49 weeks in Bolivia, 48 weeks in Canada, 40 weeks in the United Kingdom, and 38 weeks in Mexico. Those numbers highlight RAW’s ability to consistently draw interest across multiple international markets.

The performance reinforces WWE’s position as one of the most reliable live-content brands in sports entertainment. With RAW continuing to deliver strong weekly engagement and Premium Live Events contributing significant viewership internationally, WWE’s partnership with Netflix appears to be meeting — and possibly exceeding — early expectations.
