Randy Orton Says WWE “Has Something” in IShowSpeed – Randy Orton has offered a strong endorsement of IShowSpeed’s WWE potential, saying the streamer has the mental and physical tools needed to succeed if he ever chooses to pursue a full-time career in the company. Orton’s comments follow the conclusion of the new YouTube series Speed Goes Pro, which documents IShowSpeed’s efforts to train with elite athletes and test himself in multiple sports.

According to Orton, WWE “has something” with the 19-year-old creator, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr. The veteran said that IShowSpeed has already shown enough promise to take the next step — provided he commits to the work required.

“He is ready, we’ve got something here. Mentally he’s there, physically he’s got everything it takes. If he wants to stick with this journey, through hard work and dedication he could one day be a full-time WWE superstar, if he wants it.”

IShowSpeed’s WWE involvement began with a high-profile cameo at WrestleMania XL, where he appeared in disguise as a Prime bottle during Logan Paul’s United States Championship defense. He later made his in-ring debut at the 2025 Royal Rumble, entering as the eighth entrant in place of Akira Tozawa. During the match, he scored a surprising elimination on Otis with an assist from Bron Breakker before being eliminated himself. His viral moment came when Breakker speared him out of mid-air, a clip that spread quickly across social media.

Outside WWE, IShowSpeed has continued expanding his athletic profile. Speed Goes Pro — sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods and premiered at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — features him training with world-class athletes, including Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, and Suni Lee. The series showcases his willingness to tackle new challenges, something Orton believes could translate well if he ever steps into the WWE system full-time.
