No Holds Barred Match and More Set for AEW Full Gear 2025 – The November 19 three-hour Dynamite and Collision special brought two major updates to the AEW Full Gear 2025 lineup, including the first confirmed entrants in the upcoming Casino Gauntlet match and the addition of a violent showdown between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly.
The show opened with Bobby Lashley defeating Ricochet in a quick, decisive contest to secure the first entry position in the newly created National Championship Casino Gauntlet match. Moments later, Shelton Benjamin earned the second entry slot by defeating Speedball Mike Bailey in a competitive match. With both members of The Hurt Syndicate now confirmed as the first two entrants, the Gauntlet will begin with Lashley and Benjamin. AEW has also clarified that the match can end at any moment, even before all participants arrive, adding an unpredictable element to the championship’s debut.
The card for Full Gear 2025 expanded further with the confirmation of a No Holds Barred match between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly. Their rivalry has been escalating for weeks, and tensions boiled over following Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli’s win against Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy. After the match, Moxley and Castagnoli launched a post-match assault, prompting O’Reilly to hit the ring and intervene. O’Reilly applied an ankle lock on Moxley and refused to release it, making his intentions clear as the confrontation intensified.
O’Reilly then issued a direct challenge to Moxley for Full Gear. The challenge was quickly made official, setting up a brutal encounter with no rules and no restrictions. The match now stands as one of the most anticipated grudge fights on the card.
