WWE Planning New Contract for Dragon Lee Amid Growing Praise – Dragon Lee’s stock continues to rise within WWE, as new reports suggest the company is already looking to lock him into a long-term deal ahead of his current contract’s expiration next year. According to PWInsider, internal discussions have begun about offering Lee a new deal following his recent string of standout performances.
The report highlights that Lee has been earning strong internal reviews, particularly for his recent match against Dominik Mysterio at AAA’s Héroes Inmortales event. His showing reportedly impressed both WWE officials and peers, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most dynamic performers on the roster.
Since signing with WWE in December 2022, Lee’s rise has been rapid. After debuting in NXT, he captured the NXT North American Championship in December 2023 before moving to the main roster as part of the Latino World Order during the 2024 WWE Draft. His transition to RAW saw him maintain his fast-paced, high-flying style while continuing to evolve as a performer.
Lee went on to win the WWE Speed Championship in November 2024, holding it until May 2025. His most significant main roster achievement came on the October 20, 2025, episode of RAW, where he teamed with AJ Styles to capture the World Tag Team Championship from Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.
That victory marked Lee’s first major title on the main roster and has further fueled WWE’s desire to keep him signed long-term. While he is not yet advertised for a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend, his growing popularity suggests more high-profile opportunities are on the horizon.
