10/15 NXT Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude.com’s coverage of WWE NXT for October 15, airing live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Following a look to last week’s Showdown, Ricky Saints makes his way to the ring.
Ricky says he never gets tired of that. He says he wanted to say two thiings were evident at Showdown. When the odds are against him and his back is against the wall, he will fight for himself and everyone. When things get tough, Trick Williams will fold under pressure. That is the difference between him and Trick. The night he won the NXT Championship, everything became very clear to him in that moment when he held that title. For you, it has not been very clear. For a guy who says he built this place and is the face of NXT, you haven’t tidied it up. He says Trick is delusional and stupid.
With all of that being said, he would love for Trick to prove him wrong. There are people who have held the title and waited for someone to become number one. He says he is calling his shot. He tells Tricky to prove him wrong. He says he is calling out Trick for Halloween Havoc.
Trick says it ain’t his fault Ricky couldn’t get it done. You say you are leading things, but you are trying to be Trick. Trick doesn’t wait in line. When he walked in, he was in the spotlight. You can’t stand it. He is doing it better than Ricky and he looks better. You are so mad you want to put the title on the line. Do you want Trick to become a three time champion? You are going to do it on his time. Let’s talk about it.
Ricky says Trick is talking crazy. He didn’t expect Trick to come out to confront him. He says he is Ricky Saints and he says they can talk about it.
– Je’Von and Leon talk about how it is a shame their match at Bound for Glory was affected by Dark State. Evans says he would be champion.
The Hardys enter and they say that Dark State is taking it out on all of them. Matt says Leon has been taken under their wings and Evans is from North Carolina. They will take some receipts at Halloween Havoc.
Evans and Leon appreciate it and say they have their backs.
– We see footage from NXT Anonymous where Jordynne Grace confronted Kelani Jordan in the back and Kelani says that Grace was not calling it down the middle. Jordan talks about being the champion in TNA. Grace says she made it possible for Jordan to be champion.
Matt Cardona vs. Josh Briggs
Cardona with a forearm and kicks to Josh. Josh sends Matt into the corner and connects with elbows. Matt with a punch. Josh with a kick and Irish whip but Matt gets his boots up and hits a missile drop kick. Matt with a drop kick through the ropes. Matt with a kick from the apron. Matt punches Josh from the turnbuckles but Josh gets free and pulls Matt to the mat. Josh with boots to the back. Josh misses a few clotheslines but hits a flying cross body for a near fall. Josh with kicks to the back. Josh wiht an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Josh with punches and he mocks Matt and sets for the woo woo boot but Matt with a back body drop. Matt with a somersault pescado.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Josh with a reverse chin lock. Matt with a jaw breaker and forearms. Josh with boots to Matt and he gets a near fall. Josh grabs Matt by the throat and sets for a choke slam but Matt counters into a DDT. Matt with a flying clothesline and a face plant. Matt with forearms to Josh in the corner and he sets for the woo woo boot and hits it. Matt with an Unprettier for a near fall. Matt sets for another running boot but Josh goes to the floor. Matt with a baseball slide. Josh with an elbow and a hip toss back breaker and a choke slam. Josh gets a near fall. Josh tries to use the chain but the referee takes it and Matt hits Radio Silence or a near fall.
Josh with a power bomb. Josh goes for a splash but is met with knees. Matt with an elbow and he tries for a tornado DDT but Josh pushes him off and hits a running knee for the three count.
Winner: Josh Briggs
– Hank and Tank are in the back talking about who should challenge the winner of the tag title match at Halloween Havoc. They are with Chase U.
Lyra says she was looking for Tatum and she shows up with Izzi, Shawn, and Niko.
Izzi says that Hank and Tank had their chance and Chase U don’t deserve it. She says Niko and Shawn are the only team ready.
Tank says that it is time for a triple threat match.
Izzi says she will win the battle royal and become the number one contender.
Lyra asks what about Tatum and Izzi says Tatum will be by her side.
– Fallon and Jacy talk about how they formed Fatal Influence to take over the division. They have been running this division. There have been problems but they never got in their way. The one they brought along was their biggest problem. It was time to get rid of her. The person who got rid of her was the one who showed their loyalty to the group.
Lainey says they are titans in the division and she saw them ascend to the top. Falling short against Jacy meant that to be like her, she needed to follow in her footsteps.
Winning at all costs is their way.
Jacy welcomes Lainey to the group.
Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Lexis King
King with a wrist lock and take down. Wagner with arm drags and a take down. Wagner with a La Magistral for a near fall. Wagner with a wrist lock. King with a kick to escape. King with a leap frog and Wagner flips over. King walks over Wagner’s back. Wagner with a shoulder tackle and he walks over King’s back. King offers his hand and Wagner blocks a kick but King with a punch. Wagner avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and Wagner sends King into the turnbuckles and chops him. Wagner with shoulders and chops. King goes intot eh ropes and he goes or the mask and kicks Wagner. King with a chop.
KIng with a wrist lock and chop. King goes to the ropes and he goes Old School and he slaps Wagner. Wanger is not happy and King hits Wagner from behind and chops him. Wagner with a head scissors take down and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. King goes to the floor and Wagner goes to the turnbuckles or a moonsault.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Wagner with a back elbow. King drops Wagner over the top rope to the floor with a back drop. King sends Wagner’s knees into the ring steps. King with an atomic drop of the knee on the apron. King with a kick to the back of the head. King with a boot to the leg. King sends Wagner into the turnbuckles and he puts the leg in the ropes and hits a knee drop to the leg. King with a running knee to the back for a near fall. King with an atomic drop to the knee and a dragon screw. King with an Indian Death Lock. Wagner wtih punches and clotheslines. Wagner with a cho to the back of the neck followed y an Irisih whip and a springboard knee. Wagner with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.
King with a super kick and chop followed by a clothesline and another dragon screw. King goes up top and he misses a swanton when Wagner moves. Wagner with a Shining Wizard and a Michinoku Driver for the three count.
Winner: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
After the match, Wagner wants Ethan Page to come to the ring.
Page comes out and he says it is absolutely exhausting to be the greatest North American of all time. Everyone seems to be hunting him and he Canadian champion. He has wrestlers from AAA, TNA, Raw, and Smackdown to get their eyes on him. You don’t have to hunt him down any more. At Halloween Havoc, you will be challenging the greatest North American of all time for his time.
Wagner mentions Dia de Los Muertos and Page says he has no idea what he is saying.
Page says he will beat him at Halloween Havoc.
Wagner says he wants to face Page in a Day of the Dead Match. Anything goes.
– Zaria talks about her new lipstick and she asks Sol why is she in gear because it isn’t a tag match.
Sol says there is a battle royal and she can face Jacy for the title.
Zaria wonders who many titles does she need.and that she will do it on her own.
– Santino and Ava are with Leon and Evans.
Leon asks if they can face any teams at Halloween Havoc.
Channing Lorenzo says they look very comfortable.
He says that Leon wouldn’t be champ without Dark State.
Santino says his future son in law has a title match coming.
We see a commotion in the back and Trick is standing over Ricky Saints.
Zaria vs. Blake Monroe
Blake looks for Sol to taunt Zaria. Zaria tosses Blake to the mat by the hair and she poses. Blake with a waist lock and Zaria tosses Blake to the mat. Blake escapes a slam attempt and Zaria picks up Blake off the mat. Blake with a clip to Zaria followed by a drop kick. Blake with an elbow in the corner and she wraps the leg in the ropes. Blake with a drop kick to the knee. Zaria blocks an Irish whip a few times. Zaria with a splash in the corner and she goes to the turnbuckles but Blake with a palm thrust. Blake goes for a handstandcanrana but Zaria blocks it. Zaria with a sleeper and she pulls Blake off the mat. Blake goes to the floor and Zaria follows.
Blake and Zaria with punches. They get onto the apron and they exchange forearms. Zaria goes for a superplex but Blake blocks it and she runs Zaria’s head into the turnbuckles.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Blake with a sleeper. Blake gets on Zaria’s back and forces her to her knees. Zaria gets back to her feet and she backs Blake into the corner to escape the hold. Blake floats over and Blake kicks Zaria’s head into the turnbuckle and she gets a near fall. Blake with a sleeper. Zaria gets back to her feet and she falls back to the mat to escape. Zaria punches Blake and Blake fires back. Zaria with clotheslines and a bicycle kick. Blake with a kick and Zaria misses a clothesline but hits a spear. Zaria gets Blake up but Blake holds on tot he ropes and goes to the apron. Blake with a sleeper int he ropes and Zaria with a head butt and Blake falls to the floor and Zaria falls to the mat.
Blake looks under the ring and she gets a chair and she brings it into the ring.
Sol Ruca comes to the ring and she takes the chair. The referee has some words with Blake. Zaria gets Blake on her shoulders and Blake hits Zaria in the throat with an object and hits a DDT for the three count.
Winner: Blake Monroe
We see Ava announce a Men’s Speed Tournament starting next week. Axiom will face Sean Legacy. Zachary Wentz will face Jasper Troy. The winner of the tournament faces El Grande Americano.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger versus Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon vs. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears
NIko, Uriah, and Tank start things off and Uriah with a rollup on Niko. Tank with a rollup for a near fall. Uriah with a rollup for a near fall. Tank with an inside cradle. We get some super kicks. Tank with a knee to Uriah and Spears tags in and hits a Codebreaker. Hank tags in and hits a Black Hole Slam on Spears. Tank with a shoulder tackle off the turnbuckles to Niko. Hank and Tank go to the floor and they hti a Malachi crunch on Niko and Spears. Uriah and Kale with suicide dives onto Hank and Tank. Niko punches Hank.
Niko with a slam for a near fall. Niko punches Kale and kicks him. Niko with a punch to Hank. Niko punches Kale in the corner. Kale punches Noko but Niko with a shoulder. Niko puts Kale on the turnbuckles and Kale punches Nko. Niko with a head butt and he sets for a superplex. Kale kicks Spears and Niko gets back on the turnbuckles. Tank tags in while Niko goes for a superplex. Hank and Tank slam Niko over the top rope. They punch Spears and hit neck breakers on Spears. Kale and Uriah with frog splashes.
No Contest
Lucien Price and Bronco Nima come out and go after all three teams.
They continue the attack after the match.
– Zaria comes out of the trainer’s room and Sol says it was all her fault. She thanks Zaria for sticking up for her. Sol says they are going to win the tag titles. She says she is giving Zaria her spot in the battle royal. Sol says Blake was right that she was a little greedy. It is time for Zaria to have some gold.
– We are back and Ricky Saints says he is looking for Trick Williams.
Ava says Trick is gone and Ricky says it is convenient.
Ricky says he will stand up to a smug son of a bitch.
Ava says Trick will be here next week for the contarct signing for their match at Halloween Havoc.
Ricky says he will do it for Ava.
– At Halloween Havoc, we will see Trick Williams versus Ricky Saints and the contract signing is next week. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner faces Ethan Page in a Day of the Dead Match for the North American Title. The Hardys face Dark State for the tag titles. Jacy Jayne defends the title against he winner of the Battle Royal.
– We see the Hardys down in the back and Dark State stands over them.
Shugars says no one is safe until they get their titles back.
– Next week Leon Slater defends the X Division title against Channing Lorenzo. OTM faces Hank and Tank.
Women’s Championship Number One Contender’s Battle Royal
Everyone pairs off and Lash goes after Tatum. Crawford stands in the corner and Lash goes or Tatum but Tatum gets back to the apron. Tatum with a forearm to Crawford and Lash gets her over the top rope but she gets back into the ring because Crawford grabs Lash’s leg. Karmen is eliminated by Cassie and Jessie and the pose. Xia and Lei go after Jaida. Tatum is on the apron again but she gets back into the ring. Xia kicks Jaida. Crawford is on the apron and so is Grace. They back into each other and they do their ninja poses . They sahke hands and Grace knocks them off the apron and Grace blames Crawford.
Grace with a kick and shoulder in the corner. Lei with a chop to the head and she kicks Kali but Kali with a punch to eliminate Lie. Xia goes after Kali. Cassie and Jessie send Wrn to the apron and she avois them but she slips when she tries to swing around on the ring post to be eliminated. Cassie and Jessie attack Kendall Gray. Gray with an elbow and she avois a spinning heel kick rom Jessie. Kendal has her on the apron and then Jessie holds on. Cassie slides back in. Zaria is on the apron and she hodsl on. Cassie is eliminated by Gray. Zaria press slams Sade onto the apron and Sade with a forearm. Lash almost eliminates Sade but she holds on but then Lash lets go of one hand but then hugs her. Zaria drop kicks Lash into Sade to eliminate her.
Xia holds on to the ropes when Kali tries to eliminate her. Xia is eliminated while Sol makes her way to ringside to watch. Lash sends Jaida to the apron and Jaida with a shoulder. Lash kicks Jaida to eliminate her. Jaida with a knee to Xia and punches. Lash looks at what happens and everyone presses Lash up high and slam her onto security.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Thea with a cross body to Izzi and Zaria. Thea with forearms and exploders. Thea Warriors the ropes and almost eliminates Jessie. Thea has Kali in a Kimura and Kali has Thea in the ropes and Izzi with a forearm to send them both out. We see that Heather by Elegance was eliminated during the break by Thea.
Blake Monroe comes out and attacks Sol. Zaria is on the turnbuckles and she goes to the floor to protect Sol and eliminates herself. Jordan is setn to the apron by Lola and Lola with a choke. Jessie elimiinates Lola. LOla sends Gay to the apron. Gray slide in and sends Jessie over the top rope to the floor to elimiante her. Tatum sends Kendal into the turnbuckles. Grace is sent to the apron by Grace. ordan goes for a slingshot Code Red to try to eliminate Grac but Grace holds on. Jordan walks on her hands and Grace watches her get back to the apron but Grace kicks Jordan when she gets back to the apron to eliminate Jordan.
The final four are Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, Kendal Gray, and Jordynne Grace. Izzi and Tatum with shoulders into the corner. Grace and Grey are sent to the apron but they sking the cage. Grace with a forearm to Izzi and Gray with a kick to Tatum. Grace with a reverse suplex to Gray and hits a Finlay Slam on Izzi. Grace sends Tatum to the apron and Izzi with a forearm. Izzi with a choke slam to Grace and a boot to Gray. Izzi has Gray on the turnbuckles and Izzi with foerarms. Izzi sets for a uranage but Gray with a DDT. Gray with a chop and German suplex to Grace. Gray with an overhead belly-to-belly throw to Tatum. Izzi makes the save to keep Tatum in the match. Grace sends Gray onto the ropes and Tatum with a forearm to Grace. Izzi with a Codebreaker to Gray. Izzi eliminates Gray.
Tatum holds Grace in the ropes and Tatum goes for a clothesline and Izzi goes over the top rope to eliminate herself. Grace falls to the floor to be eliminated.
Winner: Tatum Paxley
Jacy comes out with Fallon and Lainey for the contractually obligated stare down.
Lyra runs past Fatal Influence to celebrate with Tatum. Izzi Dame does not look happy.
We go to credits.
