Ronda Rousey Open to Part-Time WWE Return – Ronda Rousey has expressed openness to a potential return to WWE, though under specific conditions. The former Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE since her match at SummerSlam last year, where she faced Shayna Baszler in a bout that received mixed reactions from fans.
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Rousey discussed the possibility of returning to WWE, citing the departure of Vince McMahon as a significant factor that has changed her outlook. However, she emphasized that any return would have to be on a part-time basis due to her personal commitments, including expecting her second child.
“I mean, now that Vince McMahon’s gone, I could definitely be convinced.” Ronda Rousey said. “I’ve been hearing great things from the ladies of how it’s been under Triple H’s regime. So, I could be convinced to go back but I couldn’t be full-time like before. I’m gonna have another baby coming and there’s no way I could be on the road. It was so difficult just to take Po on the road for that time. And I gotta start putting my family first.”
Since her last WWE appearance, Rousey has made occasional appearances on the independent wrestling scene, including a match in Ring of Honor. Her comments suggest that while she hasn’t ruled out a return to WWE, it would depend on the right circumstances aligning, particularly with the changes in WWE’s management structure and her family priorities.
