Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis Make Deal for Theory and Waller on 8/5 RAW – Adam Pearce announced on Twitter that the August 5 episode of WWE RAW will feature a commercial-free first hour. This special episode also marks the debut of a deal he struck with Nick Aldis from SmackDown, which brings Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to RAW.
Theory and Waller were part of a storyline involving The Miz and R-Truth at WWE SummerSlam, where Jelly Roll intervened during a confrontation. Jelly Roll’s involvement included a chokeslam on Theory, followed by a collaborative Five-Knuckle Shuffle with Miz and Truth.
This inter-brand deal suggests that RAW might see a SmackDown superstar make an appearance on the blue brand to balance the exchange.
