Janel Grant Petitions for Records Against WWE Wellness Doctor – There has been a significant update in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. In January, Grant filed the lawsuit alleging she was subjected to physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking within WWE. Although the lawsuit is on a six-month stay due to a federal investigation, it has continued to progress.
According to reports from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and John Pollock of POST Wrestling, Grant’s legal team has filed a petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. Grant asserts that McMahon directed her to Colker’s clinic starting in November 2019, where she received undisclosed treatments, including pills and IV infusions. She claims that when she inquired about the nature of these treatments, Colker responded with evasive comments about trust.
Grant’s attorneys provided a detailed statement regarding these treatments. They stated, “On multiple visits, Dr. Colker prescribed Ms. Grant with ‘adrenal trays’ or ‘adrenal supplement trays,’ provided by his office, and instructed her to take the unmarked pills daily. Dr. Colker did not explain the substances, dosages, or purpose of the pills to Ms. Grant beyond purportedly addressing her symptoms of fatigue.” When Grant questioned the substances, Colker reportedly responded, “If you don’t trust me, we have bigger problems.”
The petition further claims that Colker “routinely treats employees and talent of World Wrestling Entertainment.” Grant is seeking medical records pertinent to her lawsuit, asserting that the records provided so far are “incomplete and inaccurate,” with discrepancies such as billing records lacking corresponding medical records, inconsistent billing rates, and double charges.
Additionally, Grant alleges that an employee of Peak Wellness was involved in several instances of sexual abuse by McMahon, as detailed in her federal complaint. Her initial complaint claims that McMahon pushed her to see a physician referred to as “Celebrity Doctor,” who allegedly participated in threesomes with McMahon and Grant under pressure from McMahon. It is implied but not confirmed that this “Celebrity Doctor” might be Colker and that Peak Wellness is the clinic involved.
Grant’s new document asserts that Colker was aware of the non-disclosure agreement between Grant and McMahon and suggested she work with his attorney, who had previously helped negotiate the non-disclosure agreement.
In response to these developments, a spokesperson for McMahon issued a statement saying, “Ms. Grant’s petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker is a direct violation of the court-ordered stay and nothing more than an attempt to generate publicity on her false allegations and to harass people connected to Mr. McMahon.”
