Naomi’s Reaction to Surprise WWE Return in 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble – As the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match kicked off on Saturday evening, Natalya would be joined by the returning Naomi, who would receive a thunderous reaction from the Tampa crowd. Naomi would end up staying in the match for over an hour and two minutes before being finally eliminated by Jade Cargill during the final six of the bout.
Kayla Braxton would interview Naomi backstage in a digital exclusive after her surprise return, where the former TNA Knockouts Champion would proclaim how good it felt to be back.
“Man, it was hard to hold back all the emotions. I couldn’t, man, it felt really good after this little journey I’ve been on. To finally be back. And that’s the scary part. You never know what that reaction or response is so to feel that, man. And just after this ride I’ve been on, I feel like nothing can break me. I didn’t win, but I hung in there. That Jade is something else though. I don’t know what to do about her.”
Naomi left WWE in May of 2022 along with Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) due to creative issues regarding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. While away from WWE, Naomi captured the aforementioned TNA Knockouts Championship, losing it to fellow surprise Rumble entrant Jordynne Grace earlier this month.
