The following matches and segments are from tonight’s NXT TV taping results at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The content will air on future episodes of NXT in July and August.
July 25th Episode:
* NXT North American Champion Adam Cole defeated Sean Maluta. After the match, Cole cuts a promo but is interrupted by Ricochet. Ricochet wants a title shot at “Takeover: Brooklyn IV” but Cole turns him down. They have words until NXT Tag Team Champions Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly come out to intimidate Ricochet. The War Raiders are out next to even the odds. The Undisputed Era tries to retreat but they’re attacked by Trent Seven and Tyler Bate
* Lacey Evans defeated Tenilla Price
* Heavy Machinery defeated The Mighty due to a distraction from The Street Profits
* Tyler Bate and Trent Seven defeated State Line, enhancement talents. Moustache Mountain issued a challenge to The Undisputed Era for the titles in Brooklyn
* EC3 defeated Kona Reeves. The Velveteen Dream came out with a mic during the match to try and distract EC3 but it didn’t work
August 1st Episode:
* Shayna Baszler defeated Candice LeRae. Shayna continues to attack Candice but Kairi Sane makes the save
* Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black to become the new NXT Champion. According to live reports, Ciampa won after a referee bump and a run-in by Johnny Gargano. Johnny attacked Ciampa and Black, but Ciampa got the better of it and ended up pinning Black to win the title.

* Nikki Cross defeated Amber Nova.
* Undisputed Era attack Ricochet as he makes his way to the ring. Cole says he’s not a coward. Doesn’t hide behind anyone and accepts the challenge for Takeover Brooklyn
* Kassius Ohno vs. Adrian Jaoude. This is Adrian’s debut match. Ohno picked up the win very quickly
* Keith Lee vs. Marcel Barthel. This is Keith’s NXT debut. Lee picks up the victory.

* Taynara Conti defeated Vanessa Borne in a MYC qualifying match
* The Street Profits defeated The Mighty
* New NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa comes to the ring and says NXT now belongs to him. He gets major heel heat for ripping on an older lady in the front row and taking shots at Johnny Gargano. Aleister Black comes out to attack but Gargano runs out past Black and nails Ciampa first. Gargano cuts a quick promo on Ciampa and he retreats with the title. Gargano takes the blame for Ciampa being champion and Black says the same thing. Black drops Gargano out of nowhere with a Black Mass kick. Gargano got some boos at one point and then “you deserve it” chants after the kick
August 15th Episode:
* Kairi Sane defeated Aliyah. Sane hit three straight top rope elbow drops before getting the submission win, sending a message to NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler while she was on commentary
* Tyler Bate defeated NXT Tag Team Champion Roderick Strong
* The Velveteen Dream comes out and cuts a promo on EC3. EC3 drops Dream with the 1%er to leave him laying
* Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Black is next for the main event. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa interferes and attacks both of them for the no contest. NXT General Manager William Regal announces the NXT championship match in Brooklyn will be a triple threat between Ciampa, Black and Gargano
