According to statements made by TKO Group Holdings COO Mark Shapiro, WWE President Nick Khan is actively negotiating a WWE Tokyo event.

Strategic Overseas Growth And Streaming Expansion
Highlighting international market momentum, Shapiro noted positive communications regarding UFC operations in Abu Dhabi before revealing ongoing efforts to secure a landmark show in East Asia:
“I’m also pretty bullish about some conversations that Nick Khan is having about bringing WWE to Tokyo next year.”
The potential return to Japan aligns with the company’s broader international distribution shift. Programming transitioned to Netflix in the region in October after previously airing on local streaming service ABEMA.
While specific dates and venue details remain unconfirmed, the negotiations signal a major return to the Japanese market for large-scale live broadcasts.
