In his first title defense since dethroning Kenny Omega at AEW All In, Will Ospreay outlasted Jon Moxley in a chaotic, bloody main event at AEW All Out 2026 to remain the AEW World Champion.
The war featured faction interference, multiple referee knockouts, and an unexpected endorsement following the pinfall.
Chaos Ensues As United Empire And Death Riders Clash
Ospreay set a hostile tone before the bell even rang, flanked during his entrance by United Empire members Francesco Akira and “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Bailey carried a Death Riders flag, which Ospreay set ablaze at ringside before staring into the broadcast camera and declaring, “Let’s fcking end this.”*
The match devolved into absolute mayhem late in the bout:
- Brawl On The Ramps: United Empire’s Bailey and Akira clashed with Death Riders members Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta.
- Referee Knockout: Referee Paul Turner was accidentally flattened during the chaos, allowing the outside brawl to spill directly into the ring.
- Interference Escalation: Marina Shafir attempted to step in, but Bailey took her down with a leg sweep. PAC entered with Moxley’s former briefcase, but was cut off by Andrade El Idolo—Ospreay’s United Empire stablemate who holds a contractually obligated future title shot.
- Women’s Tag Champions Intervene: Shafir struck referee Turner in the face, prompting AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) to storm the ring. Windsor and Hayter took down Shafir before planting Wheeler Yuta with a double headbutt.
Despite eating a stomp onto the briefcase and taking multiple Paradigm Shifts from Moxley while the official was down, Ospreay rallied with two Hidden Blades and a Stormbreaker to secure the victory.
Following the pinfall, Moxley snatched the AEW World Championship belt from the official. Instead of attacking Ospreay, Moxley draped the title over the champion’s shoulders and gave him a slap on the hand in a sign of respect before exiting the ring.
