This approach stands out, especially since Nash has not been shy about voicing criticism of TKO leadership in the past. He has questioned how much influence executives have over WWE’s creative process. Even with those opinions, he chooses not to bring those topics directly to Triple H.
Nash said that this boundary is built on respect. He understands the responsibility Triple H has in his role and does not want to interfere or put him in a difficult position. Keeping their personal and professional lives separate helps preserve trust between them.

“One thing Paul and I have never done is, we have never talked business. Like I could not call or text him and say, ‘Hey, what’s going on? Is it, are they fu**ing? He would never, because that’s our deal.’”
He continued by explaining why this understanding has remained in place over the years.
“Because that takes away the trust that he has with the people he works for. So that’s always been, but that’s just, it’s none of my business. It’s none of my business who’s, you know, involved in Paul’s everyday life that he works with. Paul’s a big boy, but Paul can take care of himself.”
Nash made it clear that his decision is not about distance, but about respect. He values their friendship and believes that avoiding business talk protects it. By not crossing that line, both men maintain a clear boundary that benefits their personal relationship.
