WWE RAW Results – May 4, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of WWE RAW on May 4, from the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
A vehicle pulled up and Roman Reigns stepped out. Adam Pearce approached immediately, saying they needed to talk about the contract. Roman didn’t acknowledge the concern — he simply demanded that his music be played.
Pearce told him Jacob wasn’t here… yet.
Seth Rollins then appeared beside Roman. Seth looked him dead in the eye and told him he was in his way.
Bron Breakker Attacks Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins walked toward the ring… and Bron Breakker blindsided him from behind. Bron hammered Seth with punches, then pressed him overhead and hot‑shotted him across the ringside barrier.
Officials, referees, and security rushed out with their hands extended, which only made Bron angrier. He threw bodies aside and launched Seth into the ring steps.
Bron shoved Seth into the ring as Adam Pearce yelled at him to stop. Bron didn’t listen — he sprinted past Pearce and cut Seth in half with a spear.
Judgment Day — Liv, Dom, JD & Roxanne
Michael Cole brought up Judgment Day, and we saw the private footage of what Finn told Roxanne. Inside the room, Dom, Liv, and JD were gathered. Liv said Stephanie was injured and it was time to address what happened last week with Finn. Roxanne said she didn’t know what Finn was thinking and called him delusional.
Liv told JD he would take care of Finn tonight. She questioned why Finn was even there last week and said she had to worry about Roxanne — complaining she had to watch the whole thing on Netflix. Roxanne insisted she was loyal to the group. Liv said she and Raquel would be the next tag champions and warned Roxanne not to keep any secrets. Roxanne agreed.
Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh
They locked up and JD took control with a wrist lock. Finn tried to reverse, but JD sent him to the mat. Finn applied a side headlock and held on when JD tried to shoot him off. JD countered into near falls and a headscissors. Finn answered with an arm drag into an armbar. JD backed Finn into the ropes, and Dom grabbed Finn’s leg, allowing JD to drive him into the turnbuckles. JD posed on the ropes while Finn moved to another corner.
JD chopped Finn and sent him into the opposite corner, but Finn floated over and unloaded with repeated chops. JD kicked him, missed a chop, and Finn chopped him again before scoring a near fall. Finn hit a side Russian leg sweep for another two count. JD answered with a drop toe hold and a leg drop for a near fall, then kicked Finn in the back of the leg. JD followed with a springboard knee drop to the leg in the ropes, then a twisting leg whip into the mat and an elbow drop to the leg.
JD went for a sunset flip, but Finn rolled through and dropkicked him — because you do not sunset flip Finn Bálor. Finn sent JD to the floor, but Dom tripped Finn when the referee wasn’t looking. JD capitalized and sent Finn to the outside.
Roxanne Perez made her way down to ringside.
JD went for a sunset flip, but Finn rolled through and blasted him with a dropkick — because you simply do not sunset flip Finn Bálor. Finn sent JD to the floor, but Dom tripped Finn behind the referee’s back, letting JD knock Finn outside.
Roxanne Perez made her way to ringside.
Finn struggled to get up, powering to his feet at the count of nine. JD came off the turnbuckles with an elbow drop for a near fall. He followed with a reverse atomic drop, a knee to the midsection, and missed an elbow drop. Finn chopped him, but JD answered with a hard Irish whip. JD hit a belly‑to‑back suplex for two, then choked Finn in the ropes. Dom added a forearm and posed. JD hit another knee as Liv and Raquel arrived to talk to Roxanne.
Finn fired back with a GTR, leaving both men down. Finn rose with punches, a back body drop, and a kick. He hit Sling Blade. Dom jumped on the apron, and Finn punched him off. JD rolled Finn up for a near fall, then hit a Spanish Fly for another close count. Finn went to the apron, hit a shoulder and a kick, then climbed the ropes — but Raquel distracted the referee, allowing Dom to crotch Finn. The referee finally sent Dom to the back.
JD climbed up for a moonsault, but Finn got the knees up and scored a near fall. Finn hit another Sling Blade and set for the running dropkick — but Liv jumped on the apron and tossed the hammer to Perez. Finn hit the dropkick, but Perez smashed Finn with the hammer. JD cracked Finn with a headbutt and covered him for the three.
Winner: JD McDonagh
Backstage — Jackie Redmond with Seth Rollins
Jackie Redmond approached Seth Rollins to ask about Backlash. Seth said he’d be fine by Saturday. He reminded everyone that he told “the kid” last week: if you take your shot, you better finish the job. Seth said he isn’t dead yet.
He walked away.
Byron with Grande Americano & The Americanos
Byron Saxton was backstage with Grande Americano, Rayo Americano, and Bravo Americano. Byron asked Grande about his upcoming mask match and about tonight’s match. Rayo spoke first, saying the new Americanos didn’t represent what the name stood for. Bravo followed with even harsher words, making it clear he had nothing positive to say about them.
Grande Americano said the others didn’t understand what they signed up for. He added that while he can’t do anything about them in Mexico, he can do anything he wants in the United States.
– We were then informed that WWE Backlash will have a two‑hour Countdown show, with the first hour airing on ESPN2.
Backstage — Bron Breakker with Austin Theory, Logan Paul & Paul Heyman
Bron Breakker was in the locker room with Austin Theory and Logan Paul, the three of them joking about Seth Rollins after the earlier attack. Paul Heyman entered and immediately asked whether Seth was still breathing.
Logan said Joe Hendry wouldn’t be breathing when he was finished with him — he promised to hospitalize him. Heyman shut that down instantly. He reminded Logan that this was exactly why Logan wasn’t the one facing Joe tonight. Bron nearly got himself suspended, Brock retired on him, and Logan would be arrested if he did what he wanted to do to Joe. Heyman then revealed the actual plan: Joe Hendry would face Austin Theory tonight.
Rusev and Evans started the match, with Rusev immediately driving Evans into the corner and hammering him with shoulder thrusts. A forearm and an Irish whip followed, but Evans countered with a boot and punches. Evans struck Rusev on the apron, then chopped Page before hitting a suplex and strutting. Evans flipped away from Page and tagged in Penta. Evans hit a dropkick, and Penta followed with a headstand hesitation kick. Penta and Evans connected with a double superkick, and Evans added a rana. Penta sent Rusev to the apron and countered Twisted Grin into a Penta Driver for a near fall. Rusev argued with the referee, giving Page the opening to attack Penta.
Page raked the eyes and tagged in Rusev. Rusev kicked and punched Penta in the corner, then hit a snapmare into a reverse chinlock. Penta chopped his way free, but Rusev blocked the tag and whipped him hard into the corner. Page tagged in and kicked Penta, adding an elbow to the back of the head and more strikes. Rusev returned with a European uppercut and sent Penta to the floor. Penta rebounded with a springboard forearm that knocked Rusev outside. Rusev yanked Evans off the apron to stop the tag. Penta hit Page with a forearm and reached for Evans again, but Evans was still down. Page tagged in and hit Penta from behind.
Page landed a forearm. Rusev charged Evans, but Evans leapfrogged and Rusev crashed into the steps. Penta escaped Twisted Grin and Evans finally tagged in. Evans exploded with clotheslines, a matrix dodge into another clothesline, a German suplex, and a plancha onto Rusev. Back inside, Evans hit a springboard clothesline for a near fall. He missed a moonsault but rolled through. Page blocked the rebound kick with a boot, but Evans hit it on the second try. Penta followed with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Rusev spilled to the floor, and Evans hit a suicide dive. Evans climbed for a frog splash through the table, but Page shoved him to the floor.
Penta kicked Page, but Page pulled out the ring skirt to stop him. Rusev hit a uranage onto the announce table. Page followed with a fisherman’s suplex and secured the three count.
Winners: Ethan Page and Rusev
Byron with JD McDonagh & Dominik Mysterio
Byron Saxton was backstage with JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio. JD immediately cut Byron off, saying he was sick of the “mentor narrative” about him and Finn. He said the best thing Finn ever did was introduce him to Dom and the rest of Judgment Day. JD declared they don’t need Finn Bálor — they kicked out the dead weight, and now they will rule WWE.
Byron asked about Roxanne and whether the group was united. Dom said JD beat Finn tonight, he himself is still the Mega Champion, Liv is the Women’s World Champion, and Roxanne helped JD win. He added that Roxanne and Raquel will become the new tag champions.
Adam Pearce, Sol Ruca & Becky Lynch
Adam Pearce stood in the ring and said that back when he coached in NXT, one of his favorite moments was watching a blue‑chip prospect sign their contract with Raw or SmackDown. A video package aired for Sol Ruca, and she made her way to the ring. Pearce congratulated her and handed her the contract. Sol said it would feel so damn good to sign it and officially become part of Raw.
Becky Lynch interrupted. She said this was her scheduled time, and Pearce questioned who approved that. Becky reminded him he set a match for her with “Iyo Jannetty,” and she still won. Sol asked if Becky was done. Becky said she wasn’t. Sol told her not everything is about Becky. Becky said the sooner she learned that, the better. Sol said she respected everything Becky had accomplished, but she didn’t expect Becky to actually be everything people say about her — a rude, big‑headed bitch — and she wasn’t the only one saying it.
Becky asked Pearce if he was going to let Sol talk to her like that. Sol signed her contract. Becky asked who Sol thought she was. Sol said if Becky ever interrupted her again, she’d not only kick her ass but smash her soul. Becky hit Sol, Pearce yelled, and they ended up in the corner — perfectly positioned for Sol to bend and hit the Sol Snatcher.
Backstage — The Usos with Jackie Redmond
We saw footage from SmackDown of Jacob Fatu. Jimmy and Jey Uso walked backstage, and Jackie Redmond stopped them to ask about the contract signing. Jimmy said it was a big night and they wouldn’t miss it for anything. They love Jacob, but he needs to understand how Roman handles business when the title is on the line.
Jackie asked if there was any conflict. Jey said this was family business. Roman knows how to handle himself. They were here to make sure nothing popped off between Jacob and Roman. Jey said Jacob was in the deep end — and he needed to realize exactly who he was dealing with.
Joe Hendry vs. Austin Theory
Joe said he was just getting to the part of the song where the apology happens. Before he could finish, Austin Theory charged the ring — and Joe met him with punches. Joe sent Theory to the floor, but Logan Paul jumped onto the apron to distract him, allowing Theory to attack from behind. Theory drove Joe face‑first into the mat and followed with a backbreaker.
Joe fired back with a European uppercut and chops, but Theory hit a hard Irish whip and more punches. Theory landed a suplex. Joe countered the next one with a suplex of his own, then unloaded with punches and a clothesline. He hit a corner clothesline, caught Theory, and delivered a fallaway slam — then remembered to turn around for the MEME turn.
Logan attacked Joe from behind, and the referee immediately called for the bell.
Winner: Joe Hendry (by disqualification)
Joe punched Logan, but Theory jumped him, and Logan followed with more shots. The Street Profits ran down and went after Logan and Theory. Ford superkicked Logan and hit a jumping kick. Dawkins hit the Silencer. They set up for the Doomsday Device — but Bron Breakker stormed in, suplexed Ford over the top rope, then hit a clothesline and a German suplex on Dawkins.
Seth Rollins hit the scene, dragging Bron to the floor and unloading with punches. Seth sent Bron into the steps, then into the ring for more shots and a clothesline. Ford then launched himself with a flip dive over the ring post onto Logan and Theory. Bron recovered and speared Seth.
We were told that Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins will appear in the first hour of the Backlash Countdown show.
Backstage — Jackie with Judgment Day
Jackie Redmond asked Judgment Day about their focus. Liv said everyone saw what they’ve done — they’re going for all the gold. Raquel said Brie and Paige’s nostalgia tour was cute for one night, but she wants them to come to Raw.
Lyra Valkyria and Bayley walked in. Bayley asked if anyone in Judgment Day could do anything on their own. Lyra said they don’t forget what people do. Liv shot back that families help each other win.
– We saw a recap of Sami Zayn and Trick Williams from SmackDown, with their match confirmed for the first hour of Backlash.
Oba Femi vs. Otis — Oba Femi Open Challenge
Oba Femi strutted to the center of the ring with a microphone. He announced that the time had come for the Oba Femi Open Challenge. Akira Tozawa briefly considered answering — then immediately realized he’d made a mistake. Otis stepped in and took the spot.
They locked up, and Oba shoved Otis away. Otis hit a shoulder tackle, but Oba didn’t budge. Oba hit one of his own, and Otis didn’t move either. Otis ripped off his shirt and sent Oba into the ropes, but Oba returned the favor. Oba then launched into a flying corkscrew uppercut. He followed with a toss powerbomb.
Oba placed Otis on the turnbuckles, went underneath, and delivered the sit‑out powerbomb for the three count.
Winner: Oba Femi
Backstage:
Seth Rollins is shown with a referee, insisting he’s fine before immediately shifting blame. He tells the official Montez Ford caused the spear, then admits he doesn’t trust himself right now. Seth says they’re all fighting the same battle against the Vision, and sometimes that brings them together. He tells the Street Profits that if they stay out of his way, he’ll stay out of theirs.
– Roman Reigns appears elsewhere backstage, speaking to someone off‑camera about the contract situation. Commentary confirms Jacob Fatu is in the building tonight.
– Ethan Page heads to the ring for his Interstitial Championship opportunity. He complains about the crowd reaction, saying he wore his celebration suit expecting a standing ovation. Ethan insists he deserves one because he pinned the current champion, reminding everyone he’s undefeated on Raw. He brags about pinning Penta’s friend Je’Von Evans and says he’s forced himself into the title picture. Soon, he claims, he’ll be holding the championship — the token of excellence in WWE and the launching pad for everyone who’s gone straight to the top.
Asuka and Iyo Sky
A video package rolls highlighting the face‑to‑face between Iyo Sky and Asuka. Iyo tells Asuka she’s avoided this fight for years because everything Asuka says about herself is true — she was her senpai, her mentor. Iyo says she looked up to Asuka, loved Asuka, and despite everything, still respects her. She never wanted this fight, but Asuka has changed.
Asuka calmly says nothing has changed.
Iyo says she has no choice but to fight her. Asuka fires back that Iyo continues to disrespect her. The Iyo she taught isn’t standing in front of her. “Who are you?” she asks. This version of Iyo is her biggest disappointment. She says she’s done with Iyo at Backlash and will cut her out of her life for good.
Iyo says she’s ready.
Asuka spits blue mist into Iyo’s face.
Michael Cole pivots and asks Corey Graves what’s going on in AAA.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is backstage with the Classico Clan. She asks about the contract signing and tonight’s match. Classico says the no‑contact rule only applies in Mexico, so tonight all bets are off. His friends helped him because they learned from his friend Chad Gable. He promises everyone will find out there is only one El Grande Americano.
El Grande Americano Classico, Julio Americano & Bruto Americano vs. El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano & Bravo Americano
All six men brawl in the ring at the start until Rayo, Bravo, and Grande are knocked to the floor. Bruto launches Bravo into the air and blasts him with a forearm. Julio tags in, and the Americanos hit a double back body drop. Rayo enters, but Julio throws him with an overhead belly‑to‑belly suplex, then follows with a German suplex.
Classico tags in after Bruto crushes the corner with a Bruto Ball. Classico hits a hip toss into a wrist lock. Rayo chops him and tags in Grande. They lock up, tumble into a takedown, and stay locked in the collar‑and‑elbow. Grande grabs a wrist lock, but Classico slaps him across the face. Rayo tags in, trips Classico, and Grande slides in with a baseball slide. Both teams square off on the floor. Classico chops Rayo and tags Julio.
Bravo tags in and Julio unloads with forearms. Julio hits overhead belly‑to‑belly suplexes on both Bravo and Rayo, then suplexes Rayo onto Bravo. Julio charges but goes shoulder‑first into the post. Grande tags in, hits a corner dropkick, and poses. Julio drops Grande on the top rope while protecting his left arm. Grande clamps on a reverse chin lock. Julio escapes with a back body drop, and Rayo hits a forearm. Bravo tags in and the Americanos make a wish. Bravo covers for a near fall.
Bravo throws punches, Julio chops back. Rayo knocks Bruto off the apron and applies a reverse chin lock. Grande and Classico both tag in. Classico catches Bravo coming off the turnbuckles and hits an exploder. He follows with a side Russian leg sweep, then a reverse Olympic Slam. Bravo and Rayo block Chaos Theory, but Classico muscles both into a double German suplex. He cannonballs Grande and shoulder‑tackles Rayo.
Julio hits a suplex, Bruto crushes with a cannonball, Grande lands a flying headbutt, and Bravo follows with a frog splash for a near fall. Rayo kicks Bruto and hits a seated splash. Julio powerbombs Rayo onto the apron. Classico hits Chaos Theory, climbs up top, and lands a diving headbutt on Bravo for the three count.
Winners: Bruto Americano, Julio Americano & El Grande Americano Classico
Roman Reigns & Jacob Fatu — Backlash Contract Signing
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring as Adam Pearce stands by with the table, chairs, microphones, and the contract laid out. Pearce reminds both men of the rules for a contract‑signing match.
Roman refuses to sign anything until he “acknowledgifies” the crowd. He asks Jacob Fatu if he hears the reaction — not just love, but respect. Roman says he knows where Fatu came from. He watched him from afar. Roman says he’s been here for over twelve years while Fatu has been grinding for twelve years. He held the door open for Solo, and if Solo brought Fatu in, then he brought Fatu in. That earns respect. And with respect comes a code — an honor system — something they should both be able to hang their hat on.
Roman brings up the Tongan Death Grip. He calls it disrespectful. It’s something you save for desperate measures — “when you’re down eight‑to‑one in a bar fight at 3 AM.” You don’t do that to him.
Fatu says Roman has it all wrong. He doesn’t understand. Fatu says he is desperate. His back is against the wall. The world is against him. He has to take Roman out, take the title, and take everything Roman has. Fatu says he’s going to put a chokehold on this game and squeeze every dollar out of it the way the company has done for decades. He won’t slow down. He’ll move forward and never go back to where he came from. He’s desperate — desperate to do anything for his household.
Roman cuts him off and signs the contract.
Roman says Fatu talks about his household, but he’s been grinding for more than twelve years for multiple families. Fatu talks about seven children — Roman says he’s been doing it for 170 children. The company wants to do business with him. He told Brock that all of this is his. They are equals in the family, but in the ring, Fatu is beneath him.
Fatu lunges for the Tongan Death Grip. Roman shoves him into the turnbuckles and throws a chair at him. Roman blocks another attempt and fires punches. Fatu goes for the grip again and Roman slips free. Roman loads up for the Superman Punch — but Fatu catches him with the Tongan Death Grip and choke slams him through the table.
Fatu signs the contract as the show goes off the air at 10:18 p.m.

WWE RAW Preview – May 4, 2026
Oba Femi enters tonight’s Raw riding high after a dominant win over Grayson Waller last Monday. Following that quick victory, Femi issued an Open Challenge to anyone in the locker room — Raw or SmackDown — daring them to be the first to break his undefeated streak, which already includes wins over Kit Wilson, The Miz, Johnny Gargano, Rusev, and Brock Lesnar. Tonight, that Open Challenge officially begins, and anyone brave enough can step forward.
With WWE Backlash just days away, Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns will make their World Heavyweight Championship match official with a contract signing. Their confrontation last Monday ended in chaos, with Fatu locking Reigns in a submission hold and leaving the champion laid out. Tonight, both men sit at the same table — and the tension is guaranteed to boil over.
Raw also welcomes its newest roster member as Sol Ruca signs her official contract with the red brand. Ruca said her goodbyes to NXT during Week Two of the NXT Revenge special after falling to her former best friend Zaria in a Last Woman Standing Match. She’s only had one Raw match so far — a loss to Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan — but tonight marks the true beginning of her main‑roster journey.
Speaking of Judgment Day, JD McDonagh steps into the ring against his former mentor Finn Balor. Balor continues his mission to dismantle the group that exiled him, and he already holds a victory over McDonagh from the April 20 Raw. Tonight’s rematch promises even more bad blood.
In tag team action, Ethan Page teams with Rusev to face Je’Von Evans and Intercontinental Champion Penta. All four men clashed last Monday when Page and Rusev blindsided Penta after his non‑title win over Rusev, only for Evans to rush in for the save. Tonight, the rivalry expands into tag team warfare.
Additionally, former friends IYO SKY and Asuka will meet face‑to‑face just five days before their showdown at Backlash. With their history and emotions running deep, this confrontation could get volatile in a hurry.
