New details have emerged regarding the arrest of Ludwig Kaiser, with a report from Raj Giri presenting a version of events that differs significantly from the official arrest warrant.
According to Giri, the incident involved Kaiser and his girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, who is known for her work with WWE’s Spanish-language programming and AAA. The report states the two were in an elevator and being affectionate, but not behaving in a way that stood out as excessive. The complainant, identified as Richard Reap, reportedly remained silent during the elevator ride.
Giri claims the situation escalated only after Reap exited on the 12th floor, at which point he allegedly made a threatening remark referencing immigration enforcement “You need to show some f—in’ respect before I call ICE on that b—h.” Kaiser then followed him out, and a physical altercation occurred. However, the report states that no punches were thrown during the exchange.
This account contrasts with the official arrest warrant issued in Orlando. According to that document, the incident took place on April 23, 2026, at the Paramount on Lake Eola Apartments at approximately 6:30 PM. The complainant alleged that Kaiser and the woman were acting in an “uncontrollably intimate” manner in the elevator. After asking them to “please have some manners,” Reap claims Kaiser punched him multiple times, pushed him to the ground, and threatened further harm.
Police documentation noted visible marks, including a scratch on the back of the complainant’s head and redness consistent with a recent altercation. Kaiser was arrested on May 20, nearly a month after the alleged incident, and later released on $1,000 bond.
Bazarte’s involvement adds another layer to the situation, as she is also part of the ongoing El Grande Americano storyline tied to Kaiser’s current appearances.
The legal situation comes at a critical time, as Kaiser is scheduled to face Chad Gable in a Mask vs. Mask match at AAA’s Noche de los Grandes event on May 30 at Arena Monterrey. Travel complications have already impacted his schedule, with AAA previously canceling the “Serenata para El Grande Americano” event in Mexico City.
The Noche de los Grandes card is also set to feature Bayley, Dominik Mysterio, Penta El Zero Miedo, the War Raiders, Pagano, and Psycho Clown.
Neither WWE nor AAA has issued a public statement regarding Kaiser’s status for the event. With conflicting accounts now part of the public record, the situation remains unresolved as the scheduled date approaches.
