IShowSpeed had a busy first day in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 week, featuring multiple WWE appearances on his livestream, a visit to WWE World, and several moments that gained attention online.
Liv Morgan was the first to appear, joining Speed on stream while showing visible injuries from a recent incident on RAW.
“You didn’t know? Stephanie pushed me into Rox and we headbutted and now I have this hematoma and these two black eyes,” Morgan said. “Chat, am I still cute with my black eyes and hematoma?”
Speed asked Morgan for advice ahead of his first WrestleMania match.
“Honestly, I don’t know how much you’ve been training. I don’t know how much you’ve been doing, but I feel like I would just tell you to just be present in the moment. You know yourself. You know how you want to represent yourself. You know what you need to do in the ring. So just try to enjoy it and just soak it all in. Because it’s going to go by so quick. You’re going to go out there and be like, wow, this is so incredible. And then in like, it’s gonna feel like two minutes, and then blink of an eye, it’s done, and you’re gonna wish maybe I savored a little bit more.”
The conversation shifted when Speed mentioned Dominik Mysterio.
“I don’t want to hear it. I want to be nice to you. I want to have a friendly conversation right now. Don’t start talking about Dominik,” Morgan said.
When asked who would win in a fight, Morgan backed her side.
“Like, you’re strong, but like, my man, so I’m gonna pick Dominik Mysterio.”
The Miz also appeared on the stream and offered advice about performing at WrestleMania.
“WrestleMania is unlike anything you will ever experience. I’m telling you, there’s nothing quite like the electricity,” Miz said. “Some people might not want celebrities here. I’m more of the impression that I feel like you have such an amazing fan base that you bring a whole new crowd.”
He encouraged Speed to follow his approach.
“All he needs to do is do the Miz method. Master it. Zone in.”
The two also connected over being from Ohio, with Miz praising Speed’s consistency.
The most notable segment came when Becky Lynch appeared with her coffee brand Ammo and admitted she was offering a bribe.
“I wanted to talk to you because these Uso boys, I got a little beef with them. They’re not nice,” Lynch said, referencing Seth Rollins’ history with The Usos.
“Take this as a little bit of a bribe,” Lynch said while handing Speed a drink.
She also suggested how it could be used.
“You know, it might be a little smack on the back of Logan Paul’s head.”
Speed later visited WWE World, where he tried various fan activities, including testing the punch machine, attempting The Undertaker’s sit-up pose, and exploring exhibits. He also spent time on Fremont Street and gifted his cameraman a Rolex.
His storyline involvement began after Danhausen placed a curse on him, leading to him accidentally striking LA Knight and helping Logan Paul and Austin Theory win the World Tag Team Titles from The Usos.
Speed is now set to team with Logan Paul and Austin Theory against LA Knight and The Usos in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Saturday at Allegiant Stadium.
