WWE has signed Marie Malenko, the daughter of Dean Malenko and granddaughter of Boris Malenko, according to a report from Bodyslam.

Malenko is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in the near future as she begins the next phase of her wrestling career. The signing follows her participation in a WWE tryout held in Florida last month, which ultimately led to the company offering her a contract.

Prior to joining WWE, Malenko gained early in-ring experience by competing in Japan throughout February. She worked for promotions that maintain working relationships with WWE, allowing her to develop her skills on an international stage.

She made her professional debut on the February 2 episode of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Monday Magic show. On that night, she teamed with Sofia Sivan in a three-way tag team match, which was won by Great Sakuya and Alivia Rose. Malenko returned to the same show on February 9, where she teamed with Miyuki Takase and Sivan to secure her first victory in tag team competition.

In addition to her appearances in NOAH, Malenko also competed for Marigold, the promotion founded by Rossy Ogawa. On February 7, she faced Seri Yamaoka in a singles match that ended in a time-limit draw. The following day, she earned her first singles victory by defeating Rea Seto.

The Malenko name carries a strong legacy in professional wrestling. Dean Malenko is widely respected for his technical ability and is a former WWE Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight Champion. His father, Boris Malenko, was a key figure during the territorial era, known both for his in-ring work and his contributions as a trainer.

As of now, WWE has not officially announced the signing. However, Malenko’s arrival adds another second-generation talent to the company’s system as it continues to build for the future.
