AEW Dynamite Results – March 18, 2026

AEW Dynamite Results – March 18, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude.com’s coverage of AEW Dynamite for March 18, airing live from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.

A recap video package airs covering the eventful AEW Revolution 2026 pay‑per‑view from this past Sunday night, highlighting the chaos and fallout from the show.

Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian

We return live inside the arena as Tony Schiavone notes that a new season is beginning for AEW. The familiar sounds of Will Ospreay’s entrance theme hit, and the crowd reacts as “The Aerial Assassin” makes his way out. Ospreay heads to the ring for the opening contest of the night, where he is set to go one‑on‑one with Blake Christian.

The bell sounds and we’re officially underway. As the match begins, the commentary team notes that “Timeless” Toni Storm has been injured following the confrontation with Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir. Because of this, Mina Shirakawa will take Storm’s place later tonight against Shafir.

Fans chant “Welcome back!” as Ospreay takes a moment to survey the crowd before locking up with Christian. Ospreay quickly sends Christian out to the floor. He teases a dive, but Christian moves out of range and catches Ospreay with a lariat on the outside. Commentary reminds viewers not to count Christian out.

Back in the ring, Ospreay regains control and sends Christian back to the floor. He hits the ropes and launches himself over the top with a big diving splash. Ospreay slaps hands with fans at ringside as a loud “Ospreay! Ospreay!” chant spreads throughout the arena. Christian recovers enough to leap off the apron and knock Ospreay down.

As the action returns to the ring, Christian maintains control, working Ospreay over with steady offense. Ospreay eventually slips out of a choke/neck crank, immediately picks up speed, hits the ropes, and levels Christian for a close two‑count.

Christian fires back and takes over again, this time connecting with a clean 450 splash for a near fall of his own. Ospreay responds, fighting back to his feet and regaining momentum. He flashes a wide smile in a close‑up shot as he takes over completely. Ospreay connects with two Hidden Blades in succession and covers Christian to secure the victory in his comeback performance.

Winner: Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay Calls Out Jon Moxley

After the match, Ospreay grabs a microphone. He pauses as the crowd reacts, then shouts, “I bloody missed all of you guys!” The fans respond immediately with another loud “Welcome back!” chant echoing throughout the arena. Ospreay shifts his tone and directs his attention to one man in particular. He says, “Jon Moxley, the difference between me and you is I don’t need a weapon to snap someone’s neck. I can do it with my bare f**king hands.”

The moment he finishes, the arena lights drop and the theme for Jon Moxley hits. The crowd erupts as the building goes dark. Moxley emerges through the audience with one of The Death Riders at his side, gesturing as if clearing his ears while staring toward the ring.

Ospreay doesn’t wait for him to reach the barricade. Instead, he hops over the guardrail and charges straight at Moxley and Wheeler Yuta, taking the fight to both men as the confrontation explodes into chaos.

The fight spills back into the ring, but the situation immediately shifts when PAC hits the scene and joins the attack. He goes straight for Ospreay’s neck, wrenching and cranking on it with violent precision, targeting the same surgically repaired area that has been a focal point of Ospreay’s past injuries. PAC refuses to let up, twisting and pulling as Ospreay struggles beneath him.

A swarm of security rushes down the ramp and floods the ring, trying to pry PAC off Ospreay. The officials finally manage to create some separation, but the chaos is far from over.

The Bang Bang Gang make their way toward the ring next. As they approach, Ospreay suddenly launches himself off the entrance ramp, diving onto PAC and taking him down with full force. The two immediately resume brawling, throwing wild shots as officials scramble to regain control. The fight continues up the ramp and toward the backstage area, with security desperately trying to pull them apart as the scene descends into total disorder.

Juice Robinson & Ace Austin vs. Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta

The fight between Ospreay and PAC spills to the back, and immediately afterward the scheduled tag match gets underway. Both teams start by trading right hands in the ring, with all four men swinging heavy shots in the opening moments. Juice Robinson quickly drops into a cover on Wheeler Yuta, but Yuta kicks out with authority.

Juice grabs Yuta again, but Yuta rakes the eyes to break free and crawls toward his corner. Moxley tags in to a loud reaction and storms across the ring with a clothesline, then unloads with a barrage of right hands. He chops Juice across the chest, but Juice fires back with a chop of his own. Juice follows with a suplex and tags in Ace Austin.

Ace immediately trips Moxley and hits a sharp dropkick to keep him grounded. Yuta tries to reenter, but Moxley intercepts Ace with a knee strike and follows with a Death Valley Driver. Ace recovers enough to throw Moxley to the outside and then dives onto him with a splash. Yuta retaliates by grabbing Ace and throwing him hard into the steel steps.

On that note, the broadcast shifts into a mid‑match commercial break as the action continues. When we return, Moxley connects with The Death Rider, planting Ace and securing the pinfall for his team.

Winners: Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta

Gabe Kidd With A Pre‑Coffin Match Message For Darby Allin

A video package airs promoting tonight’s Coffin Match between Gabe Kidd and Darby Allin, highlighting the intensity and personal stakes surrounding their showdown. When the package ends, we cut backstage to Kidd speaking live. He says tonight will be the end of Darby Allin and tells him not to bother meeting in the ring. Kidd wants him in the parking lot instead. With that message delivered, the show heads into a break.

Kenny Omega Challenges Swerve Strickland

When the broadcast returns, Kenny Omega is shown speaking directly into the camera. He addresses Swerve Strickland, telling him things can get dangerous between them. Omega says he wants to play a game of risk and challenges Swerve to put his number one contender status on the line. Winner gets the title shot. Omega closes by saying it isn’t a risk if you’re the most dangerous man in AEW.

Coffin Match Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd

From there, the broadcast cuts to the parking lot, where Gabe Kidd is already waiting. He spots a car approaching and immediately starts talking trash toward it, stepping forward as if daring it to come closer. The car suddenly accelerates toward him, forcing Kidd to jump out of the way as it barrels past with clear intent. The door swings open and Darby Allin emerges, launching himself straight at Kidd.

Kidd grabs Darby by the throat and shouts, “This is it!” as he tries to choke him out. Darby fights back, breaking Kidd’s grip and firing off shots that shift the momentum. He drives Kidd backward toward his own car, slamming him against it before forcing him inside. Darby tells him it’s time to go for a ride, climbs in, and speeds off with Kidd trapped inside.

Moments later, the car loses control and flips, rolling over and crashing onto its roof. The vehicle comes to a stop upside down. After a tense pause, Darby crawls out from the wreckage. He drags Kidd out, loads him onto a nearby cart, and begins pushing him away from the crash site. The feed cuts back to the commentators reacting to the chaos.

We then see a plain, hastily assembled coffin at ringside — a generic, unfinished box that looks like it was built minutes ago. From there, Darby appears on the stage, pushing the giant cart with Kidd still laid out on top of it. He wheels it down the ramp toward the ring as the match transitions from the parking lot to the arena.

The bell rings as Darby Allin positions Gabe Kidd on a chair in the ring. Allin unloads with right hands, hammering Kidd repeatedly before trapping him in a straightjacket. With Kidd restrained, Allin picks up his skateboard and lines up a shot to crack it across Kidd’s head. Kidd manages to slip out of the way at the last second, causing Allin to crash into the ring steps. Kidd frees himself from the straightjacket and immediately turns his attention to the coffin at ringside, lifting the lid — which reads “pushing up daisies” — and slamming it down onto Allin’s fingers.

After the commercial break, Allin bites Kidd on the head and launches into a Code Red off the middle rope. He follows with a Scorpion Death Drop while Kidd is still tangled in the straightjacket straps, but Kidd counters by sending Allin crashing into the side of the coffin. Allin responds by biting Kidd’s nose and then repeatedly smashing his skateboard across Kidd’s midsection and spine. He follows with back‑to‑back Coffin Drops to keep Kidd down.

Allin drags Kidd under the bottom rope to the floor and uses Kidd’s own belt to trip him up. With Kidd staggered, Allin knocks him off the ring apron and directly into the coffin. The lid swings shut, ending the match.

Winner: Darby Allin

After the match, Allin grabs a microphone. He says he’ll keep the throttle open until the day he dies or until he reaches the AEW World Championship. He officially puts MJF on notice.

Jack Perry & The Young Bucks Are Ready For Action

We cut backstage to Jurassic Express arriving. New AEW National Champion Jack Perry steps into frame, carrying the title and looking energized after his win at AEW Revolution. Perry says Revolution was a pretty good night for his family, and tonight he’ll be teaming with two men who feel like family to him. The Young Bucks appear alongside him and briefly talk about tonight’s main event before the show heads into another commercial break.

We Hear From Swerve Strickland

Prince Nana steps out and introduces Swerve Strickland, asking the fans if they saw what he did to Brody King at Revolution to cement himself as the “Most Dangerous Man in AEW.” Strickland makes his way to the ring and takes a seat in a chair positioned in the center.

Strickland says he and Brody King went to war on Sunday, but the winners of war are always the ones who hold power. He says he enjoyed beating King in his home state, but it still wasn’t enough to satisfy him. Strickland explains that he’s been dealing with higher powers his entire life — from his time in the military, to the independent scene, to WWE — and he’s learned how to confront them.

He turns his attention to Kenny Omega. Strickland says he would already be a two‑time AEW World Champion if it weren’t for Omega. He points out that Omega has something he wants: power. Strickland says he doesn’t want to remove Omega from power — he wants to take that power for himself. He raises the stakes on Omega’s earlier challenge, saying that when he takes Omega’s power, he will become AEW’s newest EVP. He accepts the idea of a Number One Contender’s Match for the AEW World Championship, but now with far more on the line.

Renee Paquette Interviews “Speedball” Mike Bailey

We head backstage where Renee Paquette is standing by with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Bailey says that with some people, you can look at them and immediately know they’re a star. For him, it wasn’t like that. He explains that he had to prove himself, and more importantly, he had to believe in himself first. Bailey says he spent nearly twenty years wrestling all over the world just to get people to believe in him the way he believed in himself.

Mike Bailey vs. Mark Davis

The bell rings and Mike Bailey wastes no time, firing a boot into Mark Davis in the corner. Bailey follows with a sharp kick to Davis’ chest that drops him to a knee, then hits a standing moonsault across Davis’ midsection and immediately hooks the leg. Davis powers out of the early pin attempt.

After the commercial break, Bailey is back on the top rope and connects with a shooting star press, landing flush across Davis for another near fall. Bailey stays on him and snaps off a spinning kick to the side of Davis’ head. Davis absorbs the shot and responds by sending Bailey crashing into the mat before covering him, but Bailey kicks out again. Bailey fires back with a spinning back heel kick that staggers Davis.

Davis answers with an enzuigiri that catches Bailey clean, then levels him with a lariat. He follows with a piledriver and covers, but Bailey kicks out once more. Bailey recovers and spikes Davis with a reverse hurricanrana, sending Davis tumbling. Davis kicks out, but Bailey immediately follows with his signature flipping knees to the midsection.

Bailey traps Davis in the corner and lands a roundhouse kick, then climbs the ropes and delivers another pair of flipping knees off the middle rope. This time, it’s enough to keep Davis down for the three count.

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey

Marina Shafir vs. Mina Shirakawa – No Holds Barred Match

Marina Shafir then makes her way to the ring. Mina Shirakawa follows to replace Toni Storm in the upcoming match, with Storm having been bloodied, laid out, and attacked earlier today in her dressing room.

The bell rings and Shirakawa immediately swings the barbed‑wire bat she brought to the ring, cracking Shafir across the body with it. Shafir absorbs the shot, grabs Shirakawa, and plants her with a bodyslam. She tells Shirakawa she doesn’t need a weapon, but then picks up the barbed‑wire bat herself and lines up a swing. Shirakawa moves out of the way just in time, avoiding the shot, then fires a series of kicks into Shafir’s spine before hitting a dropkick to the same area.

Shirakawa reaches under the ring and pulls out a bucket filled with champagne bottles. She grabs one and winds up to strike Shafir, but Shafir cuts her off with a kick that drops her. Shafir follows by tripping Shirakawa and hitting a pair of Hip Attacks to keep her grounded.

After the commercial break, Shirakawa comes off the top rope with a dropkick that knocks Shafir down. She grabs a chair and cracks it across Shafir’s spine, but Shafir responds with a kick that halts Shirakawa’s momentum. Shafir pulls a table from under the ring and sets it up. Both women fight onto the ring apron, trading strikes back and forth. Shafir lands a hard chop to Shirakawa’s chest, then hooks her and drives both of them through the table with a back suplex.

Shafir drags Shirakawa back into the ring and covers her, but Shirakawa kicks out. Shafir fires off repeated chops to the side of Shirakawa’s neck. Shirakawa reaches into the bucket, grabs one of the champagne bottles, and smashes it over Shafir’s head. She immediately follows with a Storm Zero, planting Shafir and securing the three count.

Winner: Marina Shafir

We then head backstage, where Jon Cruz hands Andrade El Idolo a briefcase full of money as Don Callis explains via video call that MJF offered The Don Callis Family a large sum to help him take out Darby Allin.

MJF With A Proposition For Andrade El Idolo

Backstage, Renee Paquette is standing by with Andrade El Idolo. Before Andrade can speak, Jon Cruz walks into the shot. He apologizes for interrupting but says he has a briefcase for Andrade. He explains that it’s from MJF, and he also has Don Callis on his phone.

Andrade wants to know why they’re working with MJF. Callis, speaking through the phone, tells Andrade that he agreed to help MJF with his Darby Allin problem. Callis refers to Andrade as his “money man” before ending the call. Cruz leaves, and Andrade is left holding the briefcase full of cash as the show heads into another commercial break.

The Don Callis Family vs. The Young Bucks and Jack Perry

Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry start things off. The bell rings and Okada immediately flips off both Matt and Nick Jackson. Perry answers with a hurricanrana that sends Okada flying, then follows with a dropkick. Before he can continue, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta jump Perry from behind. They knock Matt and Nick off the apron, then trip Perry in the ring and hit the ropes for tandem offense. Matt and Nick recover, pull Beretta and Romero out of the ring, and join Perry inside.

Okada suddenly drops to his knees and begs Perry and The Bucks for forgiveness, but all three unload with right hands. Matt assists Nick in launching onto Okada, then holds the top rope down so Nick can dive over it and wipe out Okada, Beretta, and Romero on the floor. Perry follows with a moonsault off the middle rope, crashing onto the entire Don Callis Family at ringside.

Perry rolls Okada back into the ring and whips him into the corner before landing a clothesline. Romero grabs Perry’s ankle from the outside, allowing Okada to blindside him and stomp him down with Romero’s help.

After the commercial break, Okada whips Perry into the corner and charges, but Perry moves and drops him with a lariat. Perry tags Nick as Romero tags in on his side. Nick sends Romero and a charging Beretta crashing into one another, then levels both men and hits a series of suplexes on Romero before adding one to Beretta. Matt tags in and climbs to the top rope while Nick does the same on the opposite side. Matt lands an elbow drop on Romero as Nick dives to keep Beretta down.

Matt and Nick hit shoulders to the midsections of Romero and Beretta, then lock in Sharpshooters on both men. Perry grabs Okada and cinches in the Snake Trap, but The Don Callis Family manages to break free of all three holds. Matt tags back in and sets up for the Meltzer Driver on Romero. Okada tries to cut off Nick, but Perry flies in and takes Okada out.

Romero counters and sets up for Sliced Bread on Matt, but Matt catches him and resets for the Meltzer Driver with Nick. Romero escapes and hits Sliced Bread on Perry instead. The Don Callis Family then lines up simultaneous piledrivers on The Bucks and Perry, but all three escape and roll them up. The Don Callis Family kicks out, but The Bucks immediately hit the BTE Trigger on Romero. Perry follows with a running knee to finish the job and secure the win.

Winners: The Young Bucks and Jack Perry

After the match, Perry hands Nick a microphone. Nick says the night is bittersweet because he and Matt failed to dethrone FTR as AEW World Tag Team Champions at Revolution. He mentions their families were in the front row and their kids walked out with them, only to watch them lose. He admits FTR was the better team on Sunday.

Matt says they went to his birthday party afterward, and he felt embarrassed despite their father reminding them who they are — the best tag team on the planet. Matt says arenas full of fans still believe in them, and their father wasn’t wrong. He says he and Nick know exactly who they are, and if they have to scratch and claw their way back to the top, no team in the back will stop The Young Bucks from becoming four‑time AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage make their way to the ring. Copeland begins by saying that he and Cage respect The Young Bucks, noting that their match against FTR at Revolution was one of the best wrestling matches he’s ever seen. He adds that he relates to FTR attacking family members, referencing what happened to his wife Beth Phoenix.

Copeland explains that he hasn’t been able to look Phoenix in the eye since she required spinal surgery, but now that she’s recovered, he realized he needed to return to AEW to make things right. He says the way to get to FTR is by taking what matters most to them — the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Copeland then announces that Matt and Nick Jackson will challenge FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Dynasty on April 12.

Christian Cage follows by saying that he and Copeland now have the chance to prove they’re the best tag team of their generation and The Bucks’ generation.

FTR’s music hits and Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler make their way out with Stokely Hathaway. Stokely tries to speak, but Matt Jackson tells him to quiet down. The Bucks then superkick both Harwood and Wheeler, and Cage delivers a low blow to Wheeler.

Cage, Copeland, and The Young Bucks all grab the AEW World Tag Team Championship belts at the same time. Matt and Nick then step back and allow Cage and Copeland to hold the titles. Copeland and Cage stand tall in the ring as the show goes off the air.

–– Here is what’s in store for tonight’s show ––

  • Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian
  • Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir in a No Holds Barred match
  • Gabe Kidd vs. Darby Allin in a Coffin Match

AEW Dynamite Preview – March 18, 2026

Just days after Toni Storm defeated Marina Shafir in a singles match at AEW Revolution—with all outside allies barred from ringside—the landscape shifted dramatically when Ronda Rousey made her shocking AEW debut. Rousey stepped into the ring and stared Storm down before officials intervened, ultimately leaving alongside Shafir. With tensions now higher than ever, Shafir gets her chance at payback tonight when she meets Storm once again, this time in a No Holds Barred Match where absolutely anything goes.

The rivalry between Darby Allin and The Dogs’ Gabe Kidd continues to escalate, as the two have collided in nearly every match format AEW offers—singles, tag team, and trios—across five separate encounters. Their most recent clash came at Revolution, where Allin teamed with Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy to defeat Kidd, David Finlay, and Clark Connors. Tonight, the feud reaches its darkest chapter yet as Allin and Kidd meet in a Coffin Match, a stipulation tailor‑made for their brand of chaos.

Will Ospreay also returns to in‑ring action tonight after making a surprise appearance at Revolution, confronting Jon Moxley and The Death Riders moments after Moxley retained the Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita. Ospreay’s last match took place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on August 24, 2025, where he joined Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Darby Allin to defeat The Death Riders, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd in a brutal Lights Out Steel Cage Match. Tonight marks his official in‑ring comeback as he squares off with Blake Christian.
