Roman Reigns Addresses Rising Ambition Among WWE’s Younger Stars – Roman Reigns addressed the growing wave of ambition from younger WWE stars such as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, acknowledging that their attempts to take his spot at the top of the company are part of what he calls the “circle of life in WWE.” Speaking ahead of tonight’s Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, Reigns compared their current pursuit to his own early climb a decade ago, when he was laser-focused on unseating Brock Lesnar.
Reigns noted that despite operating on a reduced schedule since signing a new contract in 2022, the competition surrounding him has only intensified. With every major player fighting for the same limited space at the top, Reigns views the WWE landscape as a constant struggle for position.
“It’s just the circle of life in WWE. 10 years ago, I was the young guy, Brock Lesnar was the top of the mountain, and I was trying to knock him off that peg. Years later, it’s happening to me.”
Reigns emphasized that the environment hasn’t changed now that he is the one being chased. Even without a championship, he believes the aura and status he carries make him the top target in the locker room.
“It’s a shark tank. Everybody wants what you have. And I’d say right now, whether I have a title or not, everybody wants what the Tribal Chief has.”
Breakker and Reed, now central figures in The Vision, have been at the forefront of the recent attacks on Reigns. Breakker has repeatedly dismissed Reigns’ relevance, even declaring himself “The Big Dog” and positioning Reigns as yesterday’s era. The Vision’s hostility has escalated throughout the year, beginning with the ambush on Reigns at Clash in Paris and continuing with several assaults throughout the summer on both Reigns and Jey Uso.
The most significant blow came when Bronson Reed scored a victory over Reigns at Crown Jewel after interference from Breakker, marking one of the most notable wins of Reed’s career and solidifying his standing as a major threat within WWE’s evolving main event picture.
As Survivor Series approaches, Reigns appears fully aware of the new wave trying to claim his place—yet confident in his role, his presence, and the legacy he continues to build.
